Eminent Essentials is a food supply & distribution business that aims to reduce hunger in Nigeria by targeting 2 sets of people:

i. Individuals in the rural communities whose children are out of school because they cannot pay their fees and are struggling to put food on the table.

ii. The career people with busy schedules in different corporate organisations, who hardly have the time to eat healthy and/or stock up their homes with foodstuffs.

Eminent Essentials is providing a solution that will ensure food availability at smaller packages and at a very affordable price to individuals in the rural communities. This will alleviate poverty, create jobs and see their children back to school.

Our team is made up of 45 years combined experience, versed in Agriculture, software development, business administration, sales & marketing.

THE PROBLEM

In Nigeria, one in every five people, that is over 200 Million people do not have enough food, these number is on the rise everyday. Not only is food accessibility a problem, but prices of the available foods have been inflated causing food affordability to be a problem to not just the vulnerable and low-income earners, but for everybody.

THE PEOPLE MOST AFFECTED BY THIS PROBLEM

Children are at high risk of hunger because they are dependent on adults for their care and their young bodies are more vulnerable to the problems, some of them are even homeless, which makes it more difficult for them. Members of the community, women, the youths and men who have no jobs. These are the people Eminent Essentials is providing this solution for, which makes up over 70% of the Nigerian populace.

Eminent Essentials is a food supply & distribution business that provides both online and offline marketplace for farmers and consumers in rural, urban and suburban areas. We ensure food availability, accessibility and affordability, by eliminating the middlemen who inflate food prices unnecessarily. We also plan to acquire farm space for our Eminent Essential Farms to cultivate food crops, this will ensure that people get foodstuffs at a very affordable cost.

Also through our online platform, consumers can easily get access to foodstuffs without leaving their localities, and orders will be delivered to their doorsteps in a seamless and efficient process.

Eminent Essentials ensures that food supply & distribution chain is continuous, farmers income is not eroded, consumers get food at good prices, food is hygienically handled and efficiently supplied, people with low or impaired income will still have access to food with an option to pay instalmentally.
