ECO is a global massive open online STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and Entrepreneurship storytelling course provider and paid electronic-traineeship provider for young people in remote communities.
ECO creates three paths:
Learning through stories (electronic entertainment -learning)
Learning through doing (e-traineeship)
Earning while learning (e-commerce)
In 2011, Fox News reported a little girl saved her mother's life by performing CPR and calling 911 which she learned from the TV show ''Grey's Anatomy.'' Storytelling paints a picture in a person's mind, a picture through which they might simplify complex issues, enhancing their accessibility and meaning. ECO simplifies all stages of STEM and Entrepreneurship courses through a 30 minute/one hour animation movie lecture carefully created by expert academics and programmers.

Case Study
Jane Doe is starting her four week beginner course in Microsoft Applications on ECO, her first lecture material, she clicks the video, a story intro starts, about Grace a young lady who must submit her school project in four weeks, but cannot use MS Word. Grace launches into learning the various MS office applications for the next four weeks, encountering numerous obstacles, will Grace meet up the submission deadline!?. Jane Doe journeys with the character Grace through the four weeks, rooting for her to succeed. Through the four weeks, Jane learns as she watches. At the end, Jane takes assignments and a final exam, applying knowledge from Grace's journey.
E-traineeship:
ECO will source out companies across the STEM and Entrepreneurship industry to assign experts in their organizations who will sign-up as trainers on ECO. For six months or one year (depending on course level), trainees will be assigned weekly online tasks for the company by the trainers who will issue constructive feedback and hold discussion sessions. After execution of each task, the company will pay the trainee. At conclusion of the traineeship, the company can decide to employ the trainee based on quality of performance. Traineeship can be for intermediate and advanced courses.
The World Bank estimates that 4 out of 5 children entering primary
school today will eventually hold jobs that do not currently exist.
These fast-changing realities leave ripple effects on communities
worldwide, but the world’s poorest are likely to be the most adversely
affected by these market shifts, as disadvantaged young people from low socio-economic (income, wealth, and education) backgrounds are lagging behind in developing 21st century skills that will prepare them for the workforce of the future.
ECO presents a platform for the disadvantaged youth to acquire the needed 21st century skills for the future workforce.
ECO creates a globally accessible innovative learning technology through; Electronic Entertainment learning: it is a proven fact that youths are highly drawn by entertainment. ECO provides a fresh educational model exclusively through entertainment in two growing global fields.
Practical Experience: through the traineeship platform, young people will sharpen their knowledge by practicals and experimenting. This platform of theory and practical learning will appeal to various types of learners (visual, auditory and activity-based learners) The traineeship creates opportunity for networking and connection for the youths.
There is an estimate of 121 million young people out of school worldwide. In five years (2018-2022) ECO plans to educate 24.2 million young people in remote communities on STEM and Entrepreneurship education and place them in traineeship path leading to jobs and individual startup, with continued growth in subsequent years.
There has been a consistent increase in young people's access to mobile phones. Considering this, ECO will be deployed through the internet.
Track number of registration of learners on the website. - 100,000 registered learners in every three month.
Track signup request for traineeship by target companies. - 10,000 signed up expert trainers.

ECO is a fresh innovation in the field of electronic learning. It stands out among current online course providers in that it employs the ancient practice of storytelling and modern practice of digital usage in delivering education.
ECO starts, ends with and involves disadvantaged youths all over the world.
ECO starts with educating disadvantaged youths on skills that are highly relevant in our 21st century world.
ECO ends with connecting disadvantaged young people to experts across the STEM and Entrepreneurship industry, thereby improving the social and economic life of the young people and preparing them for the future.
ECO involves young people at all stage, from taking the courses, to holding online forums for developmental discussions, to the personal traineeship experience.
Over the past years, the number of young people who have access to phones has increased and there is no indication of it declining. Based on this, ECO will be deployed online, thereby eliminating high financial constraints for the young people.

5% commission from every stipend paid to trainees during the e-traineeship.
