Digital Farm Input Supply Approach
Lack of accessibility and affordability of agriculture input such as pesticides to small holder farmers from developing countries causes 40% of the world crop losses. Poor Agriculture Input Supply Approach such as the agro-dealer approach, the chain leader approach and the local traders approach hinders productivity and incomes to more than 500 million smallholder farmers in developing countries.
Digital farm input supply approach that involves the use of community shared digital tanks connected with prepaid meters allows small holder farmers to access organic pesticides in their premises even if they have little amount of money.
Smallholder farmers to increase yields by 100 percent, food security and income resulting to; No poverty, Zero hunger and Good health and well being. Protect the environment by ignoring the use of packages which turn to pollutants substance when in form of empty containers and avoid repacking of expired pesticides
In developing countries small holder farmers work on land plots smaller than 2 hectors. Many are poor and have food insecurity with limited access to markets and services. Their choices are constrained, but they farm their land and produce 80% of the World food. Lack of accessibility and affordability of agriculture input such as pesticides to small holder farmers from developing countries causes 35% of the world crop losses. Poor Agriculture Input Supply Approach such as the agro-dealer approach, the chain leader approach and the local traders approach hinders productivity and incomes to more than 500 million smallholder farmers in developing countries causing them to live under $ 2 per day (World Bank, 2018; FAO 2017: AGRA 2017).
Digital farm input supply approach that involves the use of community shared digital tanks connected with prepaid meters allows small holder farmers to access organic pesticides in their premises even if they have little amount of money. To access organic pesticides farmers will pay through their mobile phones and receive a message with a billing code and user instruction guide in both languages narrative and English. A billing code is inserted to a prepaid meter which allows organic pesticide to flow from the tanks to farmers' bottles.
The project will span for eighteen months, including a six month research and development stage, and a twelve month pilot stage to test digital farm input supply approach using 100 digital tanks connected with pre-paid meters and 30,000 small holder farmers from East Africa countries (Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan and Kenya). The main focus will be on digital supply organic pesticides to small holder farmers who need to penetrate to international markets and shift from living under $ 2 to over $ 5 per day.
500 Millions Small holder farmers from developing countries need access to affordable and high quality farm inputs (World Bank, 2017). 19 million people in Tanzania make a living off their small farms. We are piloting the service /product with 100 digital tanks in 18 months, targeting 30,000 small holder farmers from Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi to prove its uptake and sustainability.
Our Digital farm input Supply Approach helps smallholder farmers to increase yields by 100 percent, food security and income resulting to; No poverty, Zero hunger and Good health and well being. However we will be able to protect the environment as our project ignores the use of packages which turn to pollutants substance when in form of empty containers and avoid repacking of expired pesticides.
- Support small-scale producers with access to inputs, capital, and knowledge to improve yields while sustaining productivity of land and seas
Support small-scale farmers with access to organic pesticides and knowledge to improve yields and income while sustaining productivity of land and water sources.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community
- A new technology

Competitive Advantage:
Our digital farm input supply approach is very specific to organic pesticides and uses community shared digital tanks to deliver agriculture input / organic pesticides to small holder farmers within their premises & even if they have little amount of money and without; any element of corruption, favoritism, repacking of expired pesticides and empty pesticides containers which are sources of environment pollution while our competitors use agro dealers who for a long period of time are the sources of inefficiency farm input supply to small holder farmers in developing countries. In addition we deliver mobile phones based farming advises to ensure the best use of those inputs.
Use of digital farm input supply approach other than agro-dealer, chain leader and local traders approach. Our new input supply approach allow small holder farmers to access organic pesticides from digital tanks connected with pre-paid meters to allow easy access of organic pesticide by small holder farmers from developing countries even if they have little amount of money and helping them to increase yield, income and living standard.
100% environmental friendly since the technology ignores the use of packages which after using pesticides they are thrown in farms as empty pesticide bottles polluting the environment. Also ignore the use of chemical pesticide and use organic pesticide that is safe to users and environment.
Saves time and money; the technology allows smallholder farmers to access pesticide in their working areas hence no transportation cost and time loss of moving from farms to Agro-shops. The situation enables farmers to have enough time working in their farm.
Relevant information; before small holder farmers taping bio-pesticides from the automated tanks they must do online payment through the mobile phone receive a billing code with a summary of user instruction in both English and vernacular language based on the country and place where farmers are located.
Eliminating re-packing of expired farm inputs/pesticide which is done by few untruthfully agro-dealers/suppliers. In case of organic pesticides still in tanks and is near to expire, our technology will send us a notification of expiring situation and take corrective measures.

1.Farmer's ignorance.
2.Technological changes.
3. Finance; we are lacking sufficient amount of money to develop the implementation of our project which is very helpful to small holder farmers boosting their yields and increase their income resulting to higher living standard of life shifting from living under $ 2 to more than $ 5 per day.
1.Conducting awareness program to small holder farmers training on the benefits of using our Digital Agricultural Input Supply Approach other than agro-dealer, the chain leader and the local traders approach.
2.Partnering with digital technological mobile companies like Vodacom, Airtel, TTCL, Tigo and Halotel and Banks

We make money by selling one litre of organic pesticides from digital tank to small holder farmers at an average price of $ 5. Also receiving a commission of 10% per each transaction from mobile company as a reward after small holder farmers using mobile money to pay for organic pesticides. The calculations are as follows:
(i) Direct sales of organic pesticides from our digital tanks to small holder per year 100000 x $ 5 = $ 500000
(ii) 10% Commissions received from mobile companies and Banks for each transaction done by our customers / small holder farmers. Delivery of organic pesticide is through digital tanks therefore all payments must be done through mobile money and online bank system. Assumption is out of total organic pesticides (100000) sold per year; number of transactions will be 50%. The sales obtained from transaction will be as; 50,000 (Average number of transactions) x 10% (Commission from mobile companies and banks) x $ 5 price per each littler of biopesticide sold out = $ 25,000.
Total Annual Revenue =$500,000 (Direct sales from organic pesticides) + $ 25,000 (Money receives in from financial institutions in form of commission) = $ 525,000
