Shaping the Future
Educate, Explore, and Experience! Through our “Shaping the Future” flagship program we will empower girls in underserved areas with 21st-century learning and skills development by the active teachers, retired teachers, students, working professionals, and entrepreneurs. We designed a special curriculum and working model to enhance girl education in the slum. Using our model of the open-air classroom we can reach 132 million girls globally and enable them to become changemakers, irrespective of their economic background.
Through our exclusive teaching fellowship, we are recruiting educators who are willing to donate time to educate underprivileged girls and to bring a change in the education ecosystem. We are taking girls on a revolutionary journey of exploration and education through our various activities and programs.
Our curriculum focuses on: Nurturing Early Learners, Observing and Assessing Learning, Social-Emotional Development, Language & Literacy
Around the world, 132 million girls are out of school, including 34.3 million of primary school age, 30 million of lower-secondary school age, and 67.4 million of upper-secondary school age. In countries affected by conflict, girls are more than twice as likely to be out of school than girls living in non-affected countries. Only 66 percent of countries have achieved gender parity in primary education. At the secondary level, the gap widens: 45 percent of countries have achieved gender parity in lower secondary education, and 25 percent in upper secondary education. The reasons are many. Barriers to girls’ education – like poverty, child marriage, and gender-based violence – vary among countries and communities. Poor families often favor boys when investing in education. In some places, schools do not meet the safety, hygiene, or sanitation needs of girls. In others, teaching practices are not gender-responsive and result in gender gaps in learning and skills development.
At Dauntless, we're transforming the lives of underprivileged children through quality education. We are working against Child Marriage, Child Labor and Gender Discrimination by providing quality education and empowering them with their rights in the following ways:
1. Basic Quality Education: We provide free basic quality education to kids to erase poverty and bring equality among the underprivileged sections of society.
2. Development & Smart Pedagogy: We focus on the importance of skills outside of theoretical knowledge and into the practical applications of concepts learned in a classroom. We equip students with interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, negotiation, teamwork and cognitive skills such as critical thinking, reasoning, and innovation.
3. Social-Emotional Learning: We teach students social and emotional skills to equip them with skills, knowledge, and dispositions that will help them have a good character & values.
4. Communication & Ethics: We organize interactive hands-on and peer-based learning sessions like group discussions and brainstorming sessions beyond the topic to imbibe important communication and creative thinking skills to urge students to think out of the box and learn important interpersonal skills like teamwork and leadership skills.

Dauntless made me believe in myself. I never thought that I would be able to continue with my studies. It is believed in my family that girls should get married at an early age. With the support of Dauntless, I'm able to build confidence within myself to stand up for the right.- Poonam from 9th grade
