Integrate Traditional Skills with technology

In India,Assam communities have lost traditional skills ie:cloth making,design,crafting etc slowly without proper mechanism to support it resulting into unemployment.This initiative is aimed at providing traditional skill and integrating them with digital education.

My solution is to educate the youth in line of imparting traditional skills of the community.The traditional skills may consists of weaving,developing traditional design ,woodcraft,cane or bamboo etc etc.Initially youth will be given training to develop such skills .Later their traditional skills are to be utilized for integrating into other modern products.For instance a traditional design is integrated into a modern fashionable outfit.There will be lots of place for innovation or experimentation.Secondly they will be given training of using digital technology.The products developed will be marketed digitally as well as direct marketing.There will be development of mobile App for learning as well as marketing.The whole system will help solve problem of unemployment among disadvantaged youth of rural area since most of them have become self dependent.

Yes  if it is scaled up then it will possibly solve problem of unemployment in other communities of world also.

My solution solves basically problem of unemployment and poverty of disadvantaged section of the society living in rural areas.Due to poverty human migration is happening to cities thereby creating population overload in urban areas.In village areas every communities traditionally posses some skills which they are losing due to absence of a support system.Owing to problem of poverty communities are losing their skills rapidly.

This proposal is about bringing change by integrating traditional skills with modern technology.It is about revamping traditional skills of the community with the help of modern technology and innovating method to integrate with the digital market.In rural areas, most of the youth have no access to digital technology and at the same time their are no support system to impart traditional skills.If they would be given access to both then definitely they can become self dependent with access to digital market and digital space and a connection to outer world.

The impact will be higher.Youth will become skilled in traditional line.They may become skilled designer,weaver,craftsman etc etc.They will become innovator also applying traditional skills in developing modern goods.They will become expert in digital marketing and could be able to connect with the outer world.

It is the unemployed youth who will be benefited.

They will be deployed them to them through training or through an app or demonstration

This is innovative because rather than conventional job market this solution will instill in the youth perception of pro-activeness and self dependence.My solution is novel while using technology since technology will be an effective medium for getting them trained.Digital technology will be used in great length in imparting training.After completion of training youth themselves will be expert in Information Technology.

This solution is unique in itself since it will try to create not mere jobs for youth but it will build an army of skilled workforce who will be able innovate or experiment using their traditional skills.They themselves become solution providers.

The solutions we designed is a model that is designed to serve targeted communities.As mentioned it will not only create job but will build up an army of workforce made up of youth who themselves will become solution providers with the use of traditional skills and digital technology.

We are planning to provide community centric basic training in selected communities.Community have the bigger role to play in terms of executing it.This will be accessible to all other communities since they can replicate the model in their respective communities.

We are planning to fund raise for the project in terms of donations,road show and organizing fundraising

There a number of factors which will limit the ability of the solution to be succeeded.The primary one is the limited to access to fund, and rest of are the challenge of mobilizing the community ,wilfulness of the community to embrace technology etc etc
