Problems we are committed to solve includes 1 Poverty These have manifested in girls coming to school in torn school uniforms, empty stomach, without sandals and sanitary pads. 2 Distance from home to school. Most girls walk several miles from home to school. They get to school tired and cannot concentrate in class ,most times they do not come to school at all because of the distance. 3 Teenage pregnancy This occurs when girls have unprotected sex their male counterpart. SOLUTIONS 1 We will supply the girls with sanitary pads ,food, school uniforms and sandals 2 We will supply the Girls coming from long distance community where there are no school with bicycles 3 We will educate and embark on an advocacy targeted at girls to abstain from unprotected sex Globally eliminating these hindrances will improve girl child education which will help them to get a brighter future .
1 Poverty : Most of the girls in our community especially in the rural areas are faced with financial problems which does not allow them to have access to quality education .this includes unavailability of learning materials . Added to this point most of the school girls can not be provided with one pack of sanitary pad during their menstruation period by their parent or guardians. 2 We will supply girls coming from long distance community with bicycle. 3 We will embark on education and advocacy targeted at girls to abstain from unprotected sex. 4 Cultural practices: In most of our communities it is forbidden to talk about sexual life ,so most of the girls do not know any thing about sex and their menstrual cycles implications.
1 FOOD 2 SANITARY PADS 3 SCHOOL UNIFORM AND SANDALS 4 BICYCLES FOOD We will provide the girls with one hot meal daily.We will build a temporary structure to serve as a canteen for the girls to take their meals .We will engage a caterer to supply the meal daily. SANITARY PADS We will engage a vendor to supply the girls sanitary pads monthly SCHOOL UNIFORMS AND FOOTWEAR We will engage a vendor to supply the girls with school uniforms and footwear. BICYCLES We will engage a vendor to supply the girls with bicycle , that will enable them attend school daily and on time.
Young girls of school going age from Upper Primary to Senior High School within the Nkoranza municipality.The population of Nkoranza South Municipality, according to the 2010 Population and Housing Census, is 100,929 . Males constitute 49.6 percent and females represent 50.4 percent. More than half (52.9%) of the population in the Municipality live in rural areas. The Municipality has a sex ratio of 98.4 and a youthful (41.4 percent of the population aged less than 15 years) population depicting a broad base population pyramid which tapers off with a small number Municipality and its surrounding villages. FOOD: provision of food will be an incentive to keep in school. SANITARY PADS:provision of sanitary pads will help them keep their self clean from sickness

LEARNING FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN OF SCHOOL GOING AGE WITHIN THE UPPER PRIMARY AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BRACKET. The problems we have identify are ; poverty, distance from home to school ,teenage pregnancy and cultural practices. Because of poverty girls come to school in a torn school uniforms and with out footwear.They become hungry because there is no food .They soil themselves in class because they do not have sanitary pads,they walk long distances to school and they get tired and drop out of school because of pregnancy. providing uniforms,meals ,sanitary pads and sex education will address the challenges.

our innovation is a holistic approach to girl child education. We propose to supply uniforms, footwear , daily hot meal, sanitary pads and bicycle to travel.We also offer sex education and propose cultural changes that engages the girl child in house chores during school hours.We acknowledge other competitors helping to improve girl child education.United nations international children's emergency fund[UNICEF] supplies school girls with folic acid to help in their menstrual flow,however the girls are not provided with sanitary pads to the girls absorb the menstrual flow.Government supplies one meal a day to selected schools.Government further supplies school uniforms to senior high schools.Our innovation will supply school uniforms and footwear to girls in upper primary to senior high schools,will also supply them with one hot meal a day eaten in the canteen but not in the classroom.We will also supply bicycles to girl coming from distance places to enable them come to school everyday and on time .We will also offer sex education to the girls and the general public to avoid teenage pregnancy leading to the girls dropping out of school.

We work with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of lLoca Government. We also work with the Ghana Education Service.We work with both public and private schools.
The Ministry of Education owns the public schools and regulates all educationsal institutions in the country the Ghana Education Service.
The Ministry Of Education gives the permission and support to work with schools and support the girls,
The Ministry of Local Government regulates activities of all government agencies within the locality. They help us carry out our education and supply to the girls.
We work with the traditional authorities to acquire land to embark on our projects, We engage the Parent-Teacher Associations in the various schools to deliver our services.
We provide services to school going girls in rural communities.
Due to poverty girls come to school in torn uniforms and without sandals or footwear. Providing school uniforms and footwear to these girls will make girl feel bold and come to regular and learn. Girls come to school on empty stomach without food and therefore can not concentrate in class and sometimes absent themselves from school .providing the girls with one hot meal a day will be an incentive for them to come school regularly they will also not be hungry and can concentrate during classes . Provision of sanitary pads to the girls will make them regular and confident to attend classes.Provision of bicycles to the girls will make them attend school on time .lastly,sex education will also enlighten the girls to abstained from unprotected sex
