ANEPEN
The difficulty in organizing, accessing and sharing education, decelerates developments. Now days, Learners want to access education instantly while trainers want to benefit more from their career. But, when coming to women, the available education institutions, e-learning and multimedia sharing platforms may be having some limited resources or benefits for them.
Now, using Anepen platform, women will be able to organize, access and share education and knowledge for benefits. We give trainers 65% of their content sales and secure 35% as commission. So, win-win. We will help women get knowledge, trainers get extra income from their training, education institutions deliver education fast, eradicate illiteracy risky rate among young women, Reduce poverty risky rate within their community, Strengthen and perpetuate the social relationships, Create self-employments for girls and Sustain the global economy.
Our mission is to make education more accessible, shareable and profitable for all women and girls.
According to research, about 35,313,470 youths in Tanzania (Of which 65% are considered to be girls/women) experience challenges in getting potential education and opportunities; 53.3% of them are unemployed (MGD 8) while their literacy rate is about 77.4% (MGD 1). This is a disaster since most of them have limited access to education, skills, knowledge and opportunities, and how to navigate the available complicated education systems. Most of people with potential education contents that could be offered to help others, lack resources and ways to present them to the society. Moreover, few people who are able to offer them, do it in limited conditions, resources or benefits using the available ways.
Now the difficulty in organizing, accessing and sharing education and training that is hindering most of women in the world (For example during the world’s largest calamities like COVID-19), draws back and decelerates the development efforts. Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world. Through education we can advance socially and economically and without it, many people are deprived of illiteracy and poverty.
ANEPEN helps girls and women learners and trainers to organize, access and share education and training through innovative ways, where anyone can become creator/trainer and earn from the premium training video, audio and document series they create on the platform. The program has currently the following three major components:
1. Online learning for learners to help women in need of learning anything to get access to it using our sophisticated search engine integrated to the system.
2. Online training for trainers to help women and education institutions to expand their online presence by using the platform to reach their target students/audience.
3. Online collaborations/discussions to help learners and trainers to exchange notions, ideas and materials.

As a social learning platform, providing personalized learning and training capabilities for all girls and women, depending on who they are, who the learner or trainer is, what struggles of getting better education they had in the past, trainers and learners get connected within the platform, at any instant. For example, a learner can reach to trainer to ask more about something they learnt in their series, or ask fellow learners who enrolled the same series for collaborations through series commenting and chatting. So, that is how Anepen relates these facts.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community
- A new application of an existing technology
We offer multi-content publishing and sharing capability, sense of community and win-win advantage to individual learners, trainers and education institutions by empowering them to choose what they want to learn or train about and pick up what suits them at any instant. Our competitive landscape can be well understood by segmenting it into three primary categories: E-learning and video streaming platforms, Document hosting and sharing platforms and Audio hosting and sharing platforms. From deep down our competitor’s service models, our breaking winning and innovative advantage arise from the following strategies:
1. Multi-Content Publishing Capability: Combining Video, Document, and Audio Learning contents sharing in one platform has never been such easy. But we do it.
2. Sense of Community: Collaborations, Discussions and Interactions among learners or trainers from one single epicenter platform is something that everybody likes to hear about.
3. Win-win Advantage: The best of using a platform is just to get advantage of that platform. Now days people surfer from unemployment. But we make everyone benefit from knowledge or income.
4. Freedom to series price setup and enrollment: Most of available solutions have fixed content prices or high subscription fees discourages low-income societies. But we help them to enroll only what is suitable or affordable.
Establishment of content production center: Since video production is expensive out there, We help trainers produce the best quality content at lowest cost at our offices.
Our platform is a software based on website and mobile applications, designed to solve the problem of women learners and trainers to access or deliver education and knowledge at any instant - this use of technology makes us highly scalable and accessible to reach a large number of people. We're developing different versions, platform’s algorithms and AI-based features like search engines, content recommendations and notifications that will be applied in cross devices and operating systems to analyze, filter and suggest the relevant learning series topics for users. As this continues to grow at a fast pace, we believe our algorithms, online collaborations and user experience will improve significantly, and be able to provide content and nudges in anticipation, and continuously improve the content and functionality through the process.
