Gemstone digital classroom is committed to championing a large scale digital  distance learning programs that allows teachers reach learners remotely. 

UNESCO reports that 80 percent of the world's total student population is not attending school due to COVID 19 AMD world wide over 1.37 billion students are out of school in 138 countries due to the pandemic. 

Hence Gemstone digital classroom provides a blended learning model which is an intriguing method whereby instructional material and application of knowledge are done through videos. This model will give girls and young women access to qualify Alternative learning opportunities that combines education and skill acquisition for sustainable growth and development. .

If the model is scaled globally, inclusion is guaranteed even to people who live in the rural suburban areas and marginalized girls and young women will gain access to an interactive and personalized learning that will ensure better assimilation and engagement. 

We want to use technology to reach more youths particularly girls and women to help them gains access to learning opportunities. 

This is important because the pandemic has exposed schools and to reach this students we need to use learning technologies

Gemstone digital classroom is a solution that serves the over 1 billion youths  who are out of school now. 

Gemstone digital classroom will provide alternative learning thereby combining education and skills empowerment, this will strengthen the  STEM network for women and girls because most of the skills to be learned will be digital skills thereby increasing digital literacy. 

It will also combine formal and informal education.
