Youth Education is the key.
The problem that we are most definitely solving is lack of education, we want marginalized girls and young women to access quality learning opportunities to succeed in life?
We are proposing a shelter home, and an E-learning after school centre operating in “Safe Mode”
Globally education is the most important investments that a country or government can make in its people and its future. Because education is the key to change the world
Marginalized girls can access same opportunities if they are comprehended from an early age on these fundamentals. Ensuring they have access to quality education from a young age can broaden and expand their opportunities for their future. Cognitive restructuring
can be used to help change the mindset of the marginalized girls so that they can view themselves as capable. Further they can get better employment, or start own ventures (business) and stabilize themselves financially.
The problem is poor educational opportunities, because girls are vulnerable to stigma and discrimination at schools, where social acceptance is important to them. sometimes they are teased or verbally abused by teachers and peers or excluded as they cannot pay their school fees promptly even though they are often extremely poor and struggling to survive with little or no support. The number of adolescent/marginalized girl’s and OVGs in the project area is 80 yet increasing due to covid-19 pandemic and most of them are under the age of 18. According to the. 2001 census around 15 million children in the world under the age of 18 years had been orphaned by the pandemic by the end of 2003 (UNICEF, 2005: 14. According to UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Emergency Funds), there are roughly 153 million orphans worldwide. Every day, an estimated 5,700 more children become orphans. Solution relating the extended family system care for most of these children, but there are still many that are left on their own.
Most households who are taking care of people living with HIV/AIDS and orphans and vulnerable girls (OVGS) especially adolescent/marginalized girls are facing social and economic difficulties and living in poverty.
Our empowerment program is to help combat high rate of school drop-outs, rape and domestic violence, HIV/AIDS and alcohol and substance abuse among-st youth. Through participatory learning and sharing the project with others will empower the beneficiaries, their peers, their community, and Namibian nation at large.
The right to shelter because housing is important as protection against threatening elements, like violence, abuse, disturbances and noise. Shelter is also important as an arena for privacy, personal space, dignity and peace.
Therefore we will provide shelter and support them to attend school, secondary school and tertiary education and provide home based care and support for HIV/AIDS affected and infected people. To improve living standards of disadvantaged girls and vulnerable members of society to provide them with basic needs for upgrading and development for our fellow Namibians.
To provide capacity building workshops to build a grass root response to violence, psycho-social and collaborating with like-minded NGOs to advocate for the rights of children and elimination of violence, health risks, exploitation and discrimination.
Our solution will serve adolescent/marginalized girls and vulnerable girls who are in need of special help in order to meet their needs. The broad definition of vulnerable girls includes orphans, HIV positive girls, girls living with disabilities, girls of farm workers, street girls, girls in remote areas, girls of families in extreme poverty, girls from broken marriage homes, girls of parents in distressed relations, working girls, sexually abused girls, refugee girls, neglected girls and severely malnourished girls. Early Childhood Development impacts social and emotional health because young minds develop a sense of independence and curiosity as they grow in their love for learning. We believe that communities should be involved in identifying and solving their own problems therefore has held interviews with the parents/guardians/caretakers as well as numerous meetings were held for insights on their experiences to form the contributing body of solution. I believe that education, information and shelter are the most important three (3) issues because many other important problems would be solved (or greatly reduced) if we addressed this to all the children of the world and they would have a chance to be educated. Hunger would be eliminated and many diseases would disappear.
- Increase the number of girls and young women participating in formal and informal learning and training
In most cases many girls of poor families stop education at an early age and many girls without parents work as household servants, but if we use shelter, food security, education and empowerment training workshops to give them skills and resources to escape health risks, school dropouts, early pregnancies, violence, exploitation and discrimination. I believe we can tackle and solve this economic challenges and girls, young women and VOGs will have full right to decide for themselves and get involved in decision making power to shape their societies and their own lives
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea
- A new application of an existing technology
As the use of technology becomes more and more prevalent in schools, concerns have popped up about its ubiquity in schools. Some will even go as far as to say that technology will ruin education. We know that technology digital learning opportunities are very important. Due to the devastating impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children are severely dropout of schools in Namibia. Such high levels of street kids have prompted the United Nations World Food Programmed (UNWFP) and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare to sign a Memorandum of
Understanding for food, shelter, and allowance assistance to orphans and vulnerable children in April 2006.
working together with catholic AIDS Action (CAA) established in 1998, The Namibia red Cross Society (NRCS) established in 1992, and Project Hope but still there is hug need therefore our digital e-learning classroom will enable the learners to do their homework and eventually able to revisit the topic they learn in direct to get more clearer understanding of what they was thought.
The core technology that powers our solution is genius educational soft is online learning materials available to help ensure continuity in education and training activities.
Our digital tools (online and offline) can serve different educational purposes

Our theory of change is to improve living standards of disadvantaged girls and vulnerable members of society to provide them with basic needs for upgrading and development for our fellow Namibians.
To provide capacity building workshops to build a grass root response to violence, psycho-social and collaborating with likeminded NGOs to advocate for the rights of children and elimination of violence, health risks, exploitation and discrimination.

Our target at the moment is to serve 80 vulnerable and orphaned girls, but due to the availability of resources we are currently only serving 20 girls. With these project we will be able to serve all the 80 targeted girls in one year, hopefully it will increase to 200 in the next five years.
We are planning on partnering with Genius Education Software CC corporate family and planning the development of digital and entrepreneurial competencies that are a key for young people’s participation in the jobs market and the society. This action will foresee a series of workshops on digital and entrepreneurial skills to be organised throughout Namibia for girls in primary, secondary and tertiary education.
These hands-on workshops aim is to inspire female students to be able to consider careers in technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. Role models with careers and studies in technology, entrepreneurship and innovation will also contribute to the workshops and share experience.
The courses will be run in close cooperation with the partners from businesses, research and education.
We have a lack of resources, but that wont prevent us, we are hopeful and believe that one day we will be able to achieve our set goals.
We have prompt community members who contribute monthly fees, with that we are planning fundraising activities with the help of like-minded NGO's.
