One30 Million
Problem The fashion industry and the fast-fashion era have created an ecological landslide, releasing mass emissions and generating enormous waste. Covid-19 will only amplify these issues. There is yet no major marketplace that offers environmental and economic sustainability.
Our Solution The trillion-dollar fashion industry also has the capacity to change and address other world crises. one30m is a mission-led destination for luxury ethical fashion, where every purchase sponsors one girl's education.
How is one30m radicalizing positive change? We deliver social-impact transparency along with the ethical and sustainable transparency each of our vendors employs. Our purpose is to educate and implement CSR in B2B partnerships to generate awareness, advocacy and healthy consumer-habits, which makes our mission highly scalable. Our vision is to eliminate the 130 million statistic and by educating girls, we will impact the regeneration of global communities while igniting female liberation.
The 130 million statistic is one that we anticipate on eliminating. Today, 130 million girls globally are denied an education. We believe that educating girls is the cornerstone to freedom and liberation.
One of our mission-partners aids girls in Morocco, where the illiteracy rate in women and girls is more than 75% due to geography and lack of infrastructure, poor farming communities and cultural oppression. Most adolescent girls stay at home to assist with domestic duties.
In Sierra Leone, most adolescent girls are wed by their 18th birthday therefore families fail to invest in educating their daughters.
When education costs are forfeit, in urban or under-represented communities like the Atlas Mountains, for example, secondary school programs have tremendous pass rates as high as 100% (Education For All - Morocco).
Parents of adolescent girls in our target communities engage in community whispers about the scholarship programs available (as seen in EFA's recent Documentary) and given the opportunity, have acknowledged that they would send their daughters to school.
There is not only a need to educate young women, but a positive recognition from parents that programs in fact are successful.
We provide a digital platform for quality brands to connect with consumers and consumers to realize the social-impact (economic and environmental) in each shopping decision.
one30m is a mission-led, multi-vendor online retailer. It uses machine-learning to pre-empt returning customer's shopping habits.
Our platform is custom programmed to display social-impact on inventory: as a customer, you can see just how your purchase will impact the life of one girl with several months of education.
Our Family Tree initiative is a collaborative art-installation featuring acclaimed feminist artists. As our community shops, the GIF artwork grows to display the story of another girl who has received sponsored education and, how she envisages to reinvest her knowledge to benefit her own community.
The initiative provides direct-to-consumer transparency and will later this year connect students/graduates with female-founders for mentorship.
one30m' primary focus is secondary education for young women in marginalized communities: those who are geographically isolated or facing cultural oppression and or gender-bias.
Our mission-partners are established NFP's based in each community with a strong regional presence and local appreciation. We connect once every quarter to understand new challenges and opportunities of growth. This allows us to participate in promoting each cause with relevant to-date content through our platform and Family Tree initiative.
In times of Coronavirus and the closure of education centers globally, that may continue for months to come and affect many children in returning to the routine of school, we have connected with online-learning edu-tech providers, like ULesson (Africa).
Presently, one of our mission-partners is experiencing demand for continued support for graduates transitioning to University in the nearest city some 200 miles away. With a current 100% pass rate, there is a real need to prepare graduates for college + future careers with work-experience, mentorship + female support.
We have designed wire frames and now seeding opportunities with black-founder and female-founder networks to offer a portal of mentorship for secondary aged students in our programs.
- Increase the number of girls and young women participating in formal and informal learning and training
one30m supports young women in marginalized communities globally, predominantly women of color and cultural diversity.
Our solution-based enterprise clearly fits the Solve category of Educating Women + Girls.
We know that 85% of educated girls will share new knowledge with their family and friends, compared to just 15% of young men. We have a later-stage project in development that specifically encourages girls in our programs to teach their mothers to read and write in just 15 minutes a week. This is an honest example of our interest in Regeneration + educates not only girls (adolescents) but women (all ages), too.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community
- A new business model or process
Competitors one of the first social-impact displays in a fashion-retail environment, by Olivela.com
Our unique approach taking queues from Olivela and World Vision's 'child sponsorship' storytelling approach, one30m delivers social-impact transparency. Through our unique Family Tree initiative, we are able to further elevate customer experience with a path-to-learning more about the Girls in our program, specifically, how they envisage to reinvest their knowledge into their community. Our Family Tree initiative is an omni-channel art installation for both online and offline marketing and visually represents feminism (gender equal values) and [economic] regeneration.
one30m is powered by WooCommerce and has custom developed code (a calculation / formula) that displays social impact per product in our inventory. Our vendor to platform synchronization uses API to connect and extract data.
Our Family Tree initiative is delivered online as GIF (motion art) that can be embedded onto websites, media channels and social media.
The female-founders and black-founders mentorship program will rely on custom AI driven by data science and machine learning, to both connect students with suitable mentors, and then analyze the results/impact of each relationship. The AI will be patented and offered as a solution for NFP or corporate/community CSR programs.
WooCommerce is a major online-retail solution for medium to large sized enterprises. What differentiates the platform from others: Shopify, Squarespace, Wix; is that WooCommerce is more customizable (albeit technical) and is best suited for scalable enterprises.
Effective AI Scroobious.com analyzes video data and connects with suitable investors/audiences. To a lesser extent, our mentorship program will use AI to analyze data entry (as opposed to video) to connect by commonalities. It will then track and measure results/impact via surveys from both parties.

Broadly, 130 million girls.
Specifically, every transaction sponsors one girl with several months of education. On a transaction-base metric, one30m expects 8,100 unique transactions in its first year (the average spend on our platform provides 4 months of school), equivalent to 2,700 girls with 1 year of school; or, 540 girls to receive an entire secondary education sponsorship (grades 7 through 12).
Our expectation is to secure 15% of Farfetch's market share in a 5 year period, due to industry predictions and highly favorable growth in the ethical and sustainable fashion segment. Farfetch.com was founded 13 years ago (est. 2007) and generates $433M in gross merchandise value each year (an average 810,000 transactions). If by 2025, one30m can generate 121,500 transactions annually, it will have the capacity to sponsor 40,500 girls with a year of education (one30m preempts 15% growth year on year).
one30m Advisory Committee steers our Regenerative Projects and, with a cumulative 90+ years of C-Suite(Global Markets) in the Sustainable +Luxury Goods segment, Media, Technology, we are confident of our capabilities to build, lead, advocate and impact.
Technology is foundational to our impact. one30m will continue to invest in new technologies that simplify user experience, knowledge and content sharing.
Programming includes the visualization of social impact transparency, an Original Influencer Program (engagement +sales) and APP development.
AI includes vendor to platform synchronization; female-founder to student mentor program and its ability to be replicated or white labelled as part of CSR across all industries.
Our growth areas include 2 smaller scale projects that attract global media to drive interest and exposure, followed by large-scale projects that will succeed based on global interest:
-Coronavirus-ravaged fashion industry +the recovery of abandoned stockpiles, job creation, distribution or up-cycling of stock, regenerating communities like Milan, Tuscany and Florence that were steeped in prestigious artisanal history
-In conjunction with high fashion Maison's (including interest from Valentino +Brunello Cuccinelli), produce limited edition Children's and Accessories label, co-designed by Goodwill Ambassadors. Demonstrate the use of dead-stock fabric, fashion-rental (specifically in a high-cost, high-wastage Children's segment) and science +technology materials (for instance, reishi leather, or salmon leather).
-Eco Design Event Series for media personalities (largely for environmental bloggers) and the general public. A gallery trade space to experiment with newly engineered bio and regenerative materials. Key note speaker on the future of fashion + regenerative agriculture etc. International appeal.
-AI to elevate cross sector Partnerships to demonstrate transaction = education capability. Replacing the traditional '10% discount' with 'nominate a share of your discount to girls education'. Patent and white label.
one30m was founded with self-funded capital and is presently in its first stage of outside-investment pre-seed fundraise. We have consciously invested in key areas of technology to attract the next level of partnership and or investment.
Our next goals of publicity + project development rely on Funding and will allow us to organically reinvest into scaling.
By limiting our shareholding to an exclusive angel investor and continuing to fundraise through grants, donors and crowdfunding, we control the contribution of profits invested to Girls Education and further impact-focused projects (27.5% of Profits).
We are presently in our first round of outside investment with impending offer and negotiations, which will be key to maintain major shareholding and the integrity of one30m. It is paramount that investment comes from a reputable angel investor who shares our core values of equality, honesty, integrity + transparency.
In preparation for funding, we have screened and interviewed a talent pool for resourcing key growth areas including the positions of Sales Manager (digital ad spend to generate Publicity and online editorials), UX Designer + Sponsorship Manager.
We are not seeding a lavish investment to falsify success, instead focused on delivering solid ROI on an initial investment and reinvesting profits to further growth (again, to maintain control of Profits for impact).

Educating Women + Girls
- Publicity -one of our greatest barriers at this moment is lack of funding to effectively launch. The publicity from being selected as a finalist will benefit site visitors + word of mouth, and open the door to new opportunities
- Human resources -panelists, leaders + entrepreneurs who can value add with insights, risk/resolution + tech innovation
- Board members or advisors
- Marketing, media, and exposure
- Advisory Committee members presently include VP Communications, Global Markets + Media Advisor. We are however, lacking a Technologist (a progressive, nothing-is-impossible, technology-futurist)
- Media exposure (Publicity) is our major/main obstacle right now. The opportunity to partner with other businesses, associations, conferences or speaker opportunities will be of tremendous benefit.
- Advisory Committee member opportunity Negar Reiskarimian (MIT assistant professor) for her interest in high-impact journals in the nature family
- Article syndication with a major media group focused on environmental and economic interests would be a major partnership /exposure for the contents of our eco-news magazine, as we deliver content to attract a niche database that we can retarget with offers
Girls education, community + amplification of equality (voices) are central to our mission. The Prize will be allocated across key marketing (publicity) areas:
- Family Tree initiative (commissioning internationally acclaimed feminist artists; media kit, press release + press conference)
- School visits documentary in conjunction with EFA-Morocco + the International Rescue Committee (and as part of our Regenerative Projects, specifically, a bio/regenerative Children's and Accessories label) to upskill, create jobs, waste management. The documentary will travel to 4 locations and visit the Girls in each program, interview 1 girl and find how she is reinvesting her knowledge into her family + community; behind the scenes into our Regenerative Project (addressing too, ethical and sustainable garment industry + regenerating communities through Education, skills and job creation). Film Festivals and Network syndication (like Apple+ TV or Netflix Exclusive)
We are particularly interested in the mentorship and engineering the AI architecture to deliver the female-founders / black-founders and students mentorship program.
There is a real need to support graduates in their transition to university and from there, into the workforce.
While this is a later-stage project in our pipeline, the allocation of grant funding now would ensure that our team is equipped with the knowledge and tools to deliver this AI platform.
