Global Girls Science Discovery Platform
Only 14% of girls want to grown up to be "scientists". There are two primary reasons for this:
1) Media's inaccurate portrayal of what "girls" should be doing with their lives
2) Lack of access to educational science products with which to experiment, explore and learn.
We're a group of experienced directors, producers and educators who are addressing this issue on a global, financially sustainable and proven manner by:
1) producing the first truly world-class, award-winning and educational animation series designed specifically to inspire ALL girls around the world to explore STEM topics
2) providing access to a highly affordable and innovative paper microscope so girls can start exploring the world around them.

Over 600 million girls can't even imagine themselves pursuing science or STEM careers, much less actually pursuing one. This sad failure of imagination is leading to lives and careers stunted from an early age.
Tackling this major issue – at scale – could be one of the most beneficial projects for humanity. We believe we have a unique model for a solution that works at scale, is highly effective and financially sustainable.

The combination of of the following three, in a financially sustainable manner that WON'T require donations or hand outs:
1) truly world-class educational and inspiring content that truly resonates and allows girls to see themselves as scientists (on par with Disneys of the world) +
2) accessible and effective science products for hands-on exploration so they can actually do something, once inspired (on par with the best equipment available at private schools)
3) all delivered at scale in various languages for all children, not just the fortunate "1%" who have access to Netflix or private school education.
We're targeting the young girls lose confidence in their own technical skills at 6. If you lose confidence in yourself at that age, clever technology and cute curriculum delivered later in life can't really be that effective.
Only by deploying the power of stories and characters to inspire, coupled with the curriculum and innovative tech. products to do something can we tackle this issue at scale
- Strengthen competencies, particularly in STEM and digital literacy, for girls and young women to effectively transition from education to employment
We have the proven means to:
1) inspire ALL girls to pursue the sciences and be the best version of themselves and
2) deliver functioning, technically-savvy paper microscopes to every child in the world so they can pursue their dreams.
Please imagine a world where all girls, despite their race, nationality or socio-economic standing are truly inspired to explore the sciences and have a functioning and light weight microscope of their own to explore the world around them.
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth
- A new business model or process
If senior executives at Disney and Apple designed a program to inspire 1,000,000 new female scientists at scale every year, what would they do?
Be we believe they would combine the power of:
a) stories and inspiring characters (thing Frozen but for education) and
b) a fun, innovative and highly accessible technology product that would expand people's imaginations (a paper microscope that works and can be deployed everywhere!)
We believe our innovative partnership is doing just that by combining of 1) our animated series which has won the top media awards and an innovative tech solution that puts a power

Three core technology platforms drive our collaboration. It's the unique combination of the three that will allow for massive impact in a financially sustainable manner
1 - Sophisticated animation technology which allows us to produce high quality educational content, on par with world-class studios.
2 - The power of YouTube technology to reach every nook and cranny in the world
3 - A super innovative and functioning paper microscope that can be deployed at scale.

We have won the top children's media awards and our partners have already distributed 1 million paper microscopes.

Imagine 1,000,000 young girls around the world doing the following 3 steps, every single year:
Step 1: Watching and experiencing fun, educational and inspiring animated shows in their own language about characters JUST like themselves who are exploring the scientific world and solving problems in their own lives.
Step 2: Imagining themselves acting just like those characters and doing as they do, discovering and solving problems and then growing up to be scientists.
Step 3: Actually doing the science and exploring the world around themselves with the help of fully functioning microscopes of their own.
We can accomplish the above - at scale without the need for any NGO funding. We also believe we can change the path of humanity when do this.

100 thousand in the first month.
3 million in one year.
500 million in 5 years.
We will create or at least inspire 1 million new female scientists ever year, starting in 2021.
We don't have financial or technical constraints at this stage. We do have cultural and market barriers because of how women and girls are portrayed in society, which we hope address through our solution.

If we continue to execute with our programs, like we have done so far, we will tackle the issue at the top (literally and figuratively) but inspiring girls to reach their innate potential.

Team of 15 (animators, educators, technologists, writers and developers).
Only by stirring the child's imagination can we accomplish a massive shift in education at scale.
To that, no one has managed to do that as clever educational technology solutions have failed to inspire and scale, hence why we are where we are.
We are an experienced team of senior technologists, producers (Sesame, Disney) with a new approach which we know will work. We have done this before and know we can do it again.Re
We don't need funding for it - just guidance and support from the SOLVE community.
We produce content which we distribute and license and we sell educational products for which we receive a fee.
Overtime, our characters and intellectual property will grow in value.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
We have three clear revenue streams:
- media sales ($200 billion industry
- licensing ($150 billion industry)
- STEM product sales ($4 billion industry)
The SOLVE community is truly unique and well-placed to help us develop unique applications/products and help us reach 1,000,000 girls per annum.
