Early marriage and teen pregnancy keep the girls and women out of school. Today one in three in low and middle income countries continue to become married before age of 18 and one in nine girls are married before 15th birthday. While countries with highest prevalence of child marriage are from Western and sub Sahara countries.
Pervasive school related violence harms million of girls and women. The violence ranges from extreme acts such as kidnapping bullying and sexual abuse.
Restricted space and expectations limits girls and women ability to reap the return of learning. Social norms defines the roles that girls and men have in family or community.
Girls and women are marginalized simply because they are girls and the cultural norms. There chances of learning are smaller,if they come from poor families, live in rural areas or have disability it's worse.
Lack of funding. In most cases many girls come from poor families that can't afford paying tuition for them living out girls and women out of the learning sector.
Poor sanitation also affects girls while learning. Many girls in the rural areas go into mestruation but lack important equipments like pads to make them go through this.
To ensure that we teach parents and telling them to ease the work load of girls at home. This will give time for girls and women to attend learning lessons.
Training teachers and community members to be gender aware. This will create equality among boys and girls.
Keep girls and women in school safe. This will create a favourable environment for them to learn without them living schools due to the protection.
Give girls strong foundation through early childhood development. This will make them grow valuing the importance of learning.
Honor academic success and extracurricular achievements to girls and women who have acquired skills. This will attract other girls to join school.
Provide girls with job relevant skills that employers actually demand. This will help girls and women to also be in positions of leadership.
The solution is targeting rural women and girls that can't access school. This will help many of them to develop skills and knowledge for future reference and well being.
Many of the girls go into early marriage or drop out of school due to lack of funding.
If girls acquire needed knowledge and skills after learning.
They will be to gain leadership skills that will help them to contest in many positions that men do also. This will bring equality and fair treatment in the country.
There will be economic development where by girls and women will be able to do business. This will increase on government revenues leading to the development of the country.
Education for the next generation of children. Many women will have the capacity to educate there own children because they will know the importance of education.

It speaks of the shift in the ‘girls’ education dialogue’ from one of access and learning, to one of empowerment.
Addressing girls’ education challenges…
Around the world, governments, civil society and the private sector are introducing innovative approaches to girls’ education. This has become a space rich in resources and ideas that can be adapted and implemented to address girls’ education challenges.
In Kenya and Uganda, many organization seek to prevent the dropout of girls from school due to early pregnancy and marriage. The project – Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health: Fulfilling African Girls’ Rights – focuses on strengthening awareness, knowledge and skills among teachers, peer educators, community leaders and parents.

For girls to refuse marriage, they have to understand and ‘own’ their rights, and be able to support their own life plans. A wide range of programmes should invest in girls, their participation and their well-being.

Pressure to marry young usually comes from girls’ families and communities and the broader cultural attitudes that influence these groups’ attitudes and behaviour. Work together to address these deep-rooted values and traditions by engaging families, communities, young people and the media to change attitudes and behaviours related to child marriage.

There are many structural barriers that can push girls into child marriage and prevent them from accessing support once they are married. Provide services across sectors that reinforce one another and are tailored to the specific needs of girls at risk of marriage and married girls.

We are currently working on 150 girls and women.
We hope to work on 500 girls and women in one year.
We shall ensure that our target of girls and women in five years is 2000 girls and women all over Uganda that will be benefiting from our service.
PREVENTING CHILD MARRIAGE AND EARLY PREGNANCYMany are married before they are eighteen. Many are forced to marry by their families in exchange for a dowry — which is seen as a way of alleviating poverty within the family. Once married, many girls wanting to continue their education are often denied this right,
PREVENTING FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION
Many girls have undergone female genital mutilation (FGM) — a form of gender-based violence where parts or all of the external female genitalia are removed or injured for no medical reason.
Education is integral to any strategy to reduce FGM, as it can play a key role in changing individual and societal views.
BUILDING MORE STABLE COMMUNITIES
Education builds resilience, enabling countries to recover from conflict faster once peace is established. In fact, inclusive, quality education can even help prevent conflict in the first place through lessons on problem-solving, social skills and critical thinking.
STRENGTHENS ECONOMIES AND ADVANCES THE FIGHT TO END POVERTY
Research has found that level of education has a “substantial impact on employment prospects”.
And if all children in low-income countries completed upper secondary education by 2030, per capital income would have advancement the fight to eliminate poverty by ten years.
BETTER HEALTH, LONGER LIVES
Girls’ education has wide-ranging and transformative health benefits, which can be passed on through generations. Every additional year of school a girl completes cuts rates of infant mortality — the death of children under one year — by five to ten per cent.
Cultural norms. In this case many societies are still believe in there norms about living women and girls behind. This will hinder our work where by we shall find it difficult to convince girls to be styled up.
Ignorance among the girls and women towards learning. We shall find difficult in teaching these people the importance of learning where by they have a different perception about it.
