Tibeb is an online education service provider. we focus on individuals enrolled in higher education institutes. we help them develop personal and professional skills i.e. Team leadership, Self leadership, Financial management in local languages that will enable them to become successful in the future despite what ever sector they choose
Our solution is to develop youngsters skills to enable them become successful in the future. we do this through a web application, this is effective in addressing the problem because - it is cost convenience(it costs 50% less than traditional training institutes), time convenience ( the courses are available 24/7, thereby enabling self paced education), Place convenience ( the trainees can access the courses from anywhere with a digital device), Gender sensitive courses(Ethiopia ranks 109 out of 114 countries in gender disparity, we have designed a special curriculum for women to be a beneficiary of the courses), Language convenience (the platform and the courses are available in local languages).
Gender disparity - Ethiopia ranks 109 out of 134 countries according to the 2016 world bank gender disparity index. we have conducted a questionnaire to girl's in educational institutes. and lack of skilled labor market - there is an lack of crucial skills within our labor market due to the fact that there isnt satisfactory skill development centers,
we have gathered primary and secondary data. we have interview and conducted a questionnaire and we have also extensively looked in to research's i.e. world bank 2016 global gender parity index,
Our target outcomes are
1. Capable and skilled youth that is ready to join the labor force. - this is gained by our personal and professional skill development courses, with out the limitation of time, place, language, cost.
2. Gender equality. this is gained because of our gender sensitive curriculum, that specifically equip girls to be productive in the labor market.
