Beauty needs is an application that allows users to view all beauty suppliers in their location, this ranges from Hair dressers, Nail solution (manicure and pedicure), Make up artists , Barbers, Clothing, accessories and so on. Users can select their preferred vendor and have the service delivered at their location. Payment is made online to the supplier or vendor with a percentage for hosting.
In Ghana and i am sure this could also be a problem faced elsewhere. There are quite a number of people especially women who learn trade but are unable to set up a business of their own or when they do, have difficulty in finding customers. Opening a brick and mortar business involves huge capital which mostly leaves these group of people penniless and jobless.
Mobile phones are invogue now and almost everyone has a phone that is capable of using the internet. This mobile app will work just like UBER. Once we have our suppliers registered on it and customer base grows, both suppliers and customers benefit. All the trained professionals who are unable to find clients will be called in for jobs and will be able to see gains. This will mean productive time on your phone to make money and save money as prices will also be very competitive.
Beauty Needs are for every one. Kids, men and women, old and young. Deployment
1. Get the telecom operators involved to send text messages to users
2. Application will be available on the app store for every one to download and install
3. Rewards for frequent customers (customers who complete multiple transactions)
Track downloads in app store on a daily basis - At least 1000 downloads per week
Reporting systems to check suppliers registered on app - Sign up at least 100 suppliers per week in all categories
Usage and Online Payment reports. Re - Customer usage to select and confirm transactions (at least 80% downloaded customers and 80% confirmed transactions)

My Solution is unique because it is diverse, it does not only focus on a particular product but also helps others to be entrepreneurs leveraging on their own skills to help the community. It is unique because it will bridge the gap to obtaining goods and services at a competitive rate with the same quality
This solution if very human centered, in that, it will provide jobs for people, it will also offer competitive pricing for products, people who are not mobile can still have services at an affordable rate right in their homes and also aid in networking.
As indicated earlier, majority of the countries population uses mobile phones with internet access. Users can download from the app store. Training will be provided to suppliers on how to use the app.
