GestApp-Fit health app for pregnant mom
At present, the design, development, and digital administration of the processes we generate for pregnant mothers and the postpartum period, is done through our Web platform SIMON (Mission Information System). With this platform, we can identify criteria to improve and quicken the connectivity to ensure easy access. Through this finding, we intend to strengthen the technological procedures utilizing an App via the mentioned web platform, to guarantee in real-time, that priority attention is provided to the mother. Using the identification of medical or psychological risks, activating immediate support networks, georeferencing of users, following-up of the management of activities, attention addresses, and solutions of incidences.
Within the city's public policy, the target audience for intervention is pregnant mothers and those in the postpartum period. However, the concept of health for this population is evaluated on components such as income and use of the health system, nutritional status, and pathologies in general. However physical activity is not considered a preventive method of physical and mental health as a priority factor. Therefore, our preventive management initiative in the face of the problem is aimed at promoting impact alternatives for pregnant mothers and the postpartum period through technology to guarantee in real-time, priority attention to the mother and access to assertive information on disease prevention, mental health and healthy lifestyles as significant elements in the comprehensive protection of early childhood, pregnant mothers and the postpartum period.
Inder as a guarantor of the right to sport, recreation, and physical activity in the city; promotes spaces for the practice of safe and directed physical activity for pregnant mothers and postpartum periods, which are administered through the SIMON Web platform. We intend to strengthen this platform technologically through an articulated App, to guarantee the mother, in real-time, priority attention according to her immediate needs with physical activity as a preventive health system within appropriate terms (frequency, duration, intensity, and adaptation) and general information on the stages of pregnancy and postpartum in which risk factors for her life and that of her baby are present.
To be able to link technology and connectivity to our intervention strategy would generate in pregnant and postpartum women, articulated processes of handling documentation and tools of physical activity. According to the incorporation of actions that allow them to adapt to their new state from the physiological (hormonal, metabolic, respiratory), the physical (cardiovascular and muscular-skeletal), the social (from the emotional bond and the recognition of the baby as a subject with participation), and the mental (acceptance of their process); to create an optimal environment for baby's development, decrease risk factors, increase protective factors.
To all women in a state of gestation or the postpartum period who identify by medical prescription or by their initiative the physical, mental and social well-being generated by the practice of directed physical activity. The habits and healthy lifestyles as significant elements in the integral protection and visualize the importance of keeping informed through relevant, transversal, objective, and innovative concepts and contents of their state.
- Decrease the risk of disease between mothers and newborns
By identifying findings in the easily accessible connectivity of our SIMON Web platform, today we propose GestApp-Fit; an interactive App that will impact from diagnosis, monitoring, control in real-time to pregnant and postpartum mothers through programmed and safe physical activity, decreasing the risk of disease and increasing the knowledge of healthy lifestyles and habits.

We need sources of funding to improve and reach more pregnant and postpartum women, since we are sure that many of them are limited to enter our program because of the lack of resources to reach the point of care or the lack of knowledge or education to what we do from Medellin Inder, also hindering the lack of connectivity with which some users have so they make phone calls seeking not to leave pregnant mothers alone at any time and arriving through different channels of information to provide our service.
We would like to partner with public or private entities that contribute to the growth of the strategy in financial indexes or in population access that help improve the quality of life of pregnant and postpartum women.
