DoctorsButton
1. Due to prevalence of self-medications, lack of quality care outcome, over populated healthcare facilities, and counterfeit medicines in Sub-Saharan Africa.
2. We are building a platform, which enable licensed doctors to counsel, prescribe and send their patients medical orders electronically to our network of pharmacies. And our logistic personnel picks up this product and deliver it to the patients designated address.
3. We expect, flexible interaction between patients and healthcare providers which will yield quality care outcomes.
Due to prevalence of drug open-market system, increase in self-medications, lack of access to healthcare providers, over-populated healthcare facilties, increase in counterfiet medicines which results to decrease in quality healthcare outcome in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Factors such as Dilapidated healthcare infrastructure, Regulatory bottlenecks, Lack of healthcare funding, Little or no Health Insurance coverage has contributed immensely to plights of healthcare patients in Sub-Saharan Africa.
In an average; people spend atleast 7 hours in a public hospital per visit. 60%-80% of the medications prescribed by a Doctor in a tertiary hospital is not fulfilled by the public hospital pharmacy department.
70% of women on labour buy all their medications outside the hospital premises. 60% of child bearing mothers don't have access to their Doctors or Gyaenocologist.
This is because of deficit in healthcare infrastructure, Healthcare Providers are not well paid or encouraged.
DoctorsButton is a patients prescription order transmission platform which enables physicians to counsel, prescribe and transmit their patients medical orders to our network of pharmacies.
Our pharmacy assess and refill these medical orders.
Our logistic personnel picks up this product and deliver it to the patients designated addresses.
All in a mobile app platforms.
This mobile app platform also enables a patients to book an appointment with their Physicians, set a time alarm or notification for drug use and frequency.
In a market of over 200million people, 70% self-medicate or ignore proper professional counselling for drug use. We are bridging this gap. We understand that over 60% use mobile phones with internet access. We understand that people would prefer talking to their Doctors in private rather than going to the hospitals. We understand that typically people wants to get very ill before visiting the hospital. We strongly believe our solution will get people closer to their healthcare providers and their medications will be sent directly to their doorsteps.
- Expand access to high-quality, affordable care for women, new mothers, and newborns
We are faced with lack of quality healthcare outcome, due to inaccessiblity to healthcare professionals, not because we don't have enough Doctors or other providers but due overtime, lack of confidence of having access to healthcare providers, due to over-populated healthcare facilities.
Our solutions captures all facets of this problem, by improving access to providers, ensuring quality care/counselling, ensuring right prescription orders from our Doctors, Medical orders reaching the Pharmacy as oppose to open-market drug vendor, to delivery of these products to the patients address.

Funding Barriers; we need to build these mobile app from conception to end, putting in my mind cost operations and marketing.
Technical Barriers; we have to outsource some of the elements of this project to some technical specialist outside the country.
Legal Barriers; we are putting in mind all regulation bottlenecks involved in prescrition drug handling.
Market Barriers; we are working with the paradigm of a typical Nigerian who only seek for medical attention when they fall critically ill.
Financial Barriers; we are seeking for imvestment partners for this project with so far some encouraging response.
Technical Barriers; we have engaged some CMMI level 3 certified developers to work with our in-house technical experts.
Legal Barriers; due to some restrictions of prescription drugs sold online, we have mitigated for these by engaging only healthcare providers to raise prescription orders for patients.
Market Barriers; we understand the reasons why people dont visit the hospital. Simply because of over-populated healthcare facilities. So we are providing a convenient one-on-one interaction with healthcare providers.
