We have proved of the concept as we are writing this proposal, we have implemented a similar project in refugees’ camps including Kiryandongo Refugees Settlement in Uganda. For many years although we have modified the ideas by incorporating engaging the policy makers to change maternal health care policy and engaging the public on an extensive education and awareness so that as to choose health and lifestyles that that increase child and ,mother development and cure while reducing their mortality rate and our feasibility results shows that it has worked a very well, many of the people can testify that indeed they are now feeling more secured since they can now access to right support to boost integrated maternal health care. In term of it scale and scope of our operation and this give a clear picture to the idea that the concept is market-ready. Furthermore, We have also demonstrated to the people already and have seen the maternal health sector improving as well as reduction in mortality rate. Secondly we are not just relying on our feasibility study of the concept, the innovation has been approved by so many international Organizations already ,for instance the like the WHO,UNICEF and USAID is a clear prove that this is a workable idea although it is first of its time in South Sudan and we are confident that an integrated maternal programme is the right measure to combat the alarming mortality among women ,new mother and new born babies.
Radio live talk show on integrated maternal health, Microscope and other testing kits for general body check up and a vehicle for team's movement.
According to radiocentre study known as the radio multiplier study-ad awareness or the Millward Brown study which involved nearly 5500 show on the radio as a mode of communications and radio proved to be the most effective in term of cost and coverage and that If 10% of a given TV budget is re-deployed onto radio, the efficiency of the campaign in building awareness increases on average by 15%. This study can be related to our environment here in South Sudan whereby we have no electricity and very few media houses are available apart from the radios but with advancement in technologies we will also used our social media and radio concurrently compare to other technologies and secondly vehicles are to aid mobility in the field while microscope is for the general check for the right treatment and cure. These are the most important technologies needed for the implementation of this project should it be approved.
