1. What problem are you committed to solving?
The suffering of the first-time mothers during their motherhood journey, such as:
- mental, physical and social suffering
- need of parenting support and information
which has a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of the baby during the crucial first 1,000 days.
2. What solution are you proposing?
An integral and holistic digital platform integrating mental, physical and social health and wellbeing solutions, with personalised parenting information and features for the first 1,000 days journey of each user.
3. How could your solution positively change lives if it was scaled globally?
As a future BCorp, we want to tackle SDG 3 and 5, by contributing to the education of mothers and fathers to improve their own health and wellbeing, which will have a direct impact on their babies's health, in their community and in the local health systems.
The lack of knowledge and adequate accompaniment for new mothers in relation to holistic health and well-being (mental, physical and social), which causes them suffering and/or imbalance and potentially impacts on their health and that of the child, in the key period of the first 1000 days.
Digital platform where the mother get immediate answers and interact with support features for everything she might need related to her own health and well-being (mental, physical and social) and her baby's in the first 1000 days of life (pregnancy + 2 years).
Data-driven solution based on artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies.
Services:
- test to determine health and well-being profile (mental, physical and social)
- information backed by experts in all related fields for the first 1000 days of life.
- functionalities for day-to-day decision making.
- personalized plans.
- access to third party services (health professionals, support groups, activities, shopping).
- connection with communities.
- calendar, trackers and information and documentation storage.
The user registers on the digital platform and through an initial test the system determines their health profile (mental, physical, social).
Based on this data the platform displays valuable content to the user (push). The navigation system also allows the user to access all content (pull).
The system also suggest to the user the possibility of designing a customized improvement plan.
The user will find available features that support them: bot for quick answers to basic issues, checker symptom, access to professionals, access to mother communities and support groups, calendar tracker, etc.
The solution directly helps pregnant women, mothers of young children and their partners, as guidance and support for the improvement of their mental, physical and social health.
In addition to the parents themselves, the ultimate beneficiaries of all this are the children who will increase their chances of good development at the key stage of the 1,000 days, thanks to more empowered parents.
On the other hand, the platform's preventive approach also seeks to impact the community and the local health systems, which can see their service and working conditions improved by having more prepared parents.
And with that we impact globally and in the long term on SDG 3 and 5.
A good preventive training and learning on health issues and the ability of individuals to take control of their own and their child's health, increases the emotional balance and well-being of parents as well as children.
Through an awareness plan focused directly on the target and through agents of the health system (public or private) and other social agents involved in the needs of mothers and fathers, we will promote the work of disseminating the platform to show the benefits of its use.
- Support the mental and emotional health of women throughout pregnancy and after childbirth
The first 1,000 days of life is a unique period for establishing the foundations of optimum health across the lifespan.
Whether or not parents are aware of the importance of this period in baby's life, most face this stage with lack of experience or knowledge in many holistic aspects, which causes imbalances.
Our solution solve specific parenting needs but also may reveal other important aspects of physical, mental and social health dimensions.
The solution provides answers and support at one place, alleviating suffering and fostering emotional balance, as well as facilitating access to quality, professionally supported information, consultations and services.
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
- A new application of an existing technology
holistic problem and solution treatment = mental, physical and social dimensions.
digital transformation of a traditional face-to-face service into a 24/7 digital solution = digital healthcare and wellbeing =tech4good Application of AI and deep learning to customize the solution for each user = tailor-made solution.
the solution is far-reaching/ long-term benefits- acting preventively and empowering the individual to manage health issues to impact future generations and changes in the system = empowerment of parenting/ control your parenting journey
cross-cluster social impact = on mother/parent users in developed countries on mother/parent beneficiaries in non-developed countries.
Platform’s design focused on being an universal health and well-being app ( Android and iOS apps + web-based application) that provides parents with personalized information, programs and resources to improve their health and of their babies.
We are currently in the design and development phase of the product and the corresponding technological solution based on the final design of the MVP and future developments and desired integrations.
The final technological design will integrate a data-driven solution based on artificial intelligence/ machine learning and deep learning technologies and secure electronic exchange as well as delivery and integration of protected health and well-being information.
There is a wide range of successful digital solutions, both as single applications (Mind: depression, happiness, meditation, ....Body: symptom checker, sports, nutrition, ... Heart: dating, helping, ...) and as integral or holistic solutions (Sharecare, ....). As a future platform, the technology used will be very close to ShareCare.

Gola for next year will be to have a running platform and successfully registered users in Spain and in another Spanish speaking country.
In five years we want to replicate the personalised programs in different countries / languages / cultures.
First barrier is a financial barrier to build an technological platform in Spanish, that would then be localised in different Spanish speaking countries.
Besides the platform development we will need a marketing budget to acquire the first 100.000 users, learn from them and iterate. We will focus on closing key partnerships around the world to use already existing content in our platform, starting from international organisations (WHO, UNICEF, etc.) to local scientists, experts, government bodies and NGO.
In five years the idea is to move to more culturally different countries and languages, closing other types of partnerships with local players. Barriers will be to get a good contact to local players who can share existing content with us.

We would live to partner with the health departments of MIT to get a backing and inspiration along our way to international growth. While we have all the necessary contacts to developp the solution for Spain, we believe that we can speed our international growth if we could get quicker and better contacts with though leaders in the 4 dimensions (mental health, physical health, social health and parenting), in the technology field (platform , mobile applications), in the behavioural science and gammification field and with experts in contact with local organisations dealing with pregnant women and mother of newbornd around the world (gynecologist or paediatric organistions, hospitals, field doctors such as MSF, UNICEF, etc.)
As a future B-Corp, focusing on a Sociocracy 3.0 governance, we would also like to partner with the Social /sustainability departments of the MIT to exchange best practice, ideas and contact.
Our solution is meant to be localised country by country.
We have a team member from the Middle East states and would use the prize to partner with local government bodies and officials, religious leaders and healthcare officials to prepare an MVP that would answer the local and cultural necessities of the poorest populations, in accordance to the local customs, healthcare recommendations and laws.
