My Job Studio

We provide young people access to the job market by performing online and offsite workshops focused on jobs of the future and entrepreneurship, in our platform they can connect to global initiatives to enhance their skills and finally get a job through our platform with no cost at all.

In LatAm, there are more than 8 million jobless people between the age of 18 and 24. We see it more than a problem as a challenge where with the right support we can connect them to those jobs who sometimes are hard to filled due to a lack of communication or bureaucracy in the recruiting system. Every day that a person spends without learning something or evolving is a step backwards professionally, personally and for the region. We want to give back the opportunity to overcome inequality and provide a better quality life. 

My Job Studio prepares and connects talented gems without an opportunity with job education such as what to expect, salaries, career coaching and access to EdTech startups that they didn't know about so talents can strength their skills and learn new ones and become top talent for their areas and regions. Once they're ready we match them with internship in seed stage startups from across the globe or according to their level of expertise to bigger companies with branches and offices in Latin America. We have proven this theory in three countries: Mexico, Colombia and Chile supported by StartUp Chile.

Our main outcome is to reduce youth unemployment in Latin America (15,94%). We have two parts benefited from this solution: the first one, and the most important one, are the talents. Young brilliant minds in the region who haven’t had access to good jobs or want to access a better opportunity to benefit themselves and their society. 

On the other hand, there are the companies that with this solution can optimize their recruitments processes up to 80% in time and money and attract top talent from the region.

My Job Studio provides a solution unique in the field of Human resources. We use Artificial Intelligence not to match only the experience but the real skills (hard&soft) of the candidates to the identity of the company reducing the risk of a bad recruitment in 80%. 

Our technology learns directly from the candidate to analyze what is he  good at, measure the potential not only in his own skills but also in team building, technical skills and preferences. 

My Job Studio is all about tackling youth unemployment mainly in Latin America where the unemployment rate is 15%. Our solutions aims to connect the disadvantage youth of our region in places where they can develop themselves and they can have an impact on the future of their communities. 

While they are been selected, we complement their profiles with training about access to the job market and complimentary courses for their career.

Everybody can access our platform from a desktop and with your help we plan to introduce the app. 

Companies can go through our solution by entering our platform and answering a few questions. Companies pay for a commission when every talent is hired, while the solution is free for talents. From the courses and coaching to the access to the latest job offers. 

Our solution is already validated an working in three countries: Mexico, Colombia and Chile. We are currently being funded by the government of Chile and mentored by StartUp Mexico and the startup is getting a revenue of 6000 dollars per month.  We got ourselves covered financially to keep running the business.

The factors limiting My Job Studio to succeed are the lack of connectivity to internet in Latin America and the lack of academic preparation in some areas. Whereas, it might be a limiting factor, it is a challenge for us to overcome.

First, we wanna take advantage of the network that is taking place here. We know that unemployment is a common problem around the globe and we are ready to test our solution out there and make alliances with other brilliant minds working on it. 

Also, we are looking for mentors with experience in Artificial Intelligence in psychology processes and business in order to grow at a stable rate first in Latin America, and then in Asia.
