There is Poor Understanding of post birth care and delivery,Poor Custom and tradition,Poor Infrastructure,Lack of some therapy equipment for children.Capacity building to Health care provider,Supply of Children therapy equipment.It will reduce Infant mortality rate at Arusha District

In Tanzania, the estimated annual maternal mortality rate is 454 per 100,000 live births, infant Mortality rate is 68 per 1,000 live births, new born Mortality rate is 32 per 1,000 live births, and these mortality rates are associated by diseases which are HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

It is widely accepted that 15% of all pregnancies have direct and indirect medical or obstetric complications that greatly increase the risk of mortality or severe morbidity for the mother and newborn. These complications include hemorrhage, hypertension, unsafe abortions and obstructed labour (UNICEF/UNFPA 2007). Indirect causes include malaria, anaemia, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. Universal access to high quality facility care substantially reduces mortality and morbidity from these conditions

We provide personalized education/training/Empowerment for Nurse,Nurse Mid wife and Local Nurse Midwife depending on who they are that they can be competent and will be able to give the knowledge and service to Pregnant women in a way that is encouraging and supportive also providing Children therapy equipment to Hospitals such as Radiant Warmer and Incubator,Oxygen machine,Heat box for baby to receive Oxygen,Neonatal examination bed,Photo therapy light for Jaundice treatment

By provision of Motivational training to Health care workers also providing important therapy equipment for children this will help to have best and quick health service to Children  and will reduce death rate

It is Arusha District Council which has 1 Hospital called Oltrumet, 26 Dispensaries and 5 Health centers.Health care providers including Nurse,Nurse Midwives,Local Nurse Midwives.Lack of motivational training make them not excited with their work also Unavailability of Basic children therapy equipment.It will make them excited and provide best and quick service also they will train Pregnant women to attend Clinics  and being trained in good and loving way.

Main cause of Child death at Arusha District are Preterm,Pneumonia,Asphyxia,Sepsis,Diarrhoea,Congenital and Malaria.By provision of Children medical  This will impact by reduce Infant mortality rate at Arusha District

Eliminating maternal death rate during delivery by empowering Local Nurse midwife on the effects of Home delivery and also to have good cooperation with Dispensary and Hospital,Educate Women on the Importance of family planning soon after delivery this will make a women strong and healthy before next conceive,Supplying of Children therapy equipment to Hospitals and Dispensary at Arusha District that can be easily accessed with Villagers

Community health workers supervised by trained skilled health workers to go house to house to find pregnant women and newborns (Find). They encourage prompt ANC/MCH clinic attendance and scheduled ANC/MCH clinic appointments using mobile phones at the time of their initial visit (Link). The ANC/MCH clinics in the facilities provide the complete EHC package to each subject (Treat). Subjects are tracked and defaulters followed up and their compliance ensured (Retain).

“Enhanced Health Care (EHC)” delivery care system through Find, Link, Treat and Retain (FLTR) strategy on antenatal care attendance, health facility deliveries, low birth weight and premature deliveries

The expected outcomes include overall increase in antenatal care attendance, health facility deliveries, improved quality of care, a reduction in low birth weight and premature births, reduction in birth asphyxia, a reduction in neonatal sepsis and subsequent reduced maternal, infant and neonatal mortality

My Solution will have impact on the problem because I will make Health worker change their normal ways of works and that will bring a big Impact to the Society around and having fast and best health services at the Society

We have currently serve 100 women who have been get service from One Dispensary,It will serve 500,This will affect up to 6,000 People in five years

Improve health centers across Tanzania by mid-2021 by having Basic Children therapy equipment and also Competent and Committed Health workers by empowering Local Nurse midwife on the effects of Home delivery and also they can have good cooperation with Dispensary and Hospital nearby  that when happen a Pregnancy women deliver at home they have to immediately take the Baby and mother at the nearest Hospital or Dispensary  also empowering Pregnancy women when attending clinics this will reduce maternal mortality rate . 

Over the next 5 years, our team will expand  from 5 health centers to all 32 health centers,Dispensary ,Hospital  at Arusha District, We will deploy 10 implementation teams and work with local partners to expand throughout Tanzania by mid-2026.

Financial Barrier,This is one of the Barrier that face us and make hard for us to accomplish our goals and our program to run smoothly

Infrastructure,Due to bad Infrastructure at Arusha District is also  a challenge for our goals to move on smoothly especially during rain season it is very hard to travel with cars across villages

Communication,This is also one of the Challenge where by most of Villagers use Native Language and being difficult to communicate with them easily when in training or during Seminars

We plan to overcome Financial barrier by  Looking for fund through writing proposals and look for Partnering with International Organisation who can support our Projects in basic requirement

We use to use small cars during our Projects but for the time being we have one  4 X 4 Car which is more friendly for Village environment.

We plan to work close with Indigenous People and employ part time workers when in field this will  easiness communication hence help us to make close relationship with Villagers

Use of the health systems approach in health care provision is expected to provide a holistic improvement in the quality of care  that will lead to improved health indicators including morbidity and mortality. It is expected that the solution will help health policy of the national and county governments in Arusha,Tanzania and worldwide.We also have enough experience and we have a Nurse who work at Likamba Village which is at Arusha District and experince the Challenge which is at the Village and we have come to deliver solution to Likamba Village Community and Arusha District at Large

We will mostly partner with Village Government and Government Hospitals workers for our project to succeed

Villages Health Support Org (VHSO) is the Non Government Organization, registered under Government act, 24/2002 and given Ref No OONGO/R/0421, VHSO main objectives are to promote social educational and economic empowerment to underprivileged community, Enhance provision of medical care, empower women in sexual reproductive health as well as Supporting and empower children and adult live with HIV

Villages Health support  is having some long term strategy to make sure in near future we will be able to meet our expenses through making partnership with organizations which gives Donation and Grants, also by having partnership with  organization with high expertise in some areas which can help to reduce the cost of operation and save some amounts, that will enable Villages Health Support Org to reach our objective by using low cost, Apart  from that Villages Health Support Organization is having Cow, Goat and  Chicken Projects  which we are planning to use them as method of teaching and source of Revenue at the same time other project is Fish pond and Green House.

Financial Barriers-Due to financial barriers we plan to find fund and make Partnership with International Organization with will help to assist our Project.

Communication Barriers-We will be close to Indigenous people at the village,Also employ part time w workers  so that we can be close to the Villagers when in Project

Infrastructure Barrier-We use to have a Car which is small that being difficult during rain season  but for now we have 4 X 4 Car where we can travel through village

Product/Service distribution - We need to understand the different platforms that are available to provide good health service to Tanzanian Community.

Funding and Revenue Model-We need to understand  framework for generating financial income,what value to offer, how to price the value, and who pays for the value. 

Monitoring and Evaluation-We need to understand more how  to assess the performance of  our projects

We will Partner with MIT faculty or initiatives or Solve members whom they will help to advance my solution because they have enough experience on different Challenges
