Pregnancy world Message (PWM)

      The percentage of married Girls under the age of eighteen have increased in communities where poverty and illiteracy are widespread, so many girls and women don't have sufficient experience of being responsible for a newborn baby, and the same die tragedy will repeat many times for many newborns. 

     Establishing the pregnancy world app will enhance their experience in how to become a healthy pregnancy by providing online and offline care, and how to raise a healthy newborn via regulating newborn care and how to decrease the risk for common diseases in your country via articles and doctor advises. The app's system will be adjusted depending on the country that will be chosen by the participant. The switch will be in the newborn's regulation and consultation because of different countries and different infectious diseases, so different vaccination administrated.

      In the Eastern Mediterranean Region, 1.1 million children die every year (68/1000 live births). Egypt resembles 3.8% of these death cases because of an increase in the percentage of uneducated women and of young mothers to 6.9 %, poor accessibility to health care in slums, poor control of infectious diseases by creating proper obligatory vaccination schedule, low socioeconomic level, inadequate primary health care training focusing on enhancing mother awareness to prevent such disasters. Such disasters can lead to sacrificing her life and her baby. 

      Despite the educational and economic level, The pregnancy world app will offer the required care for women and their newborns via integrating them with healthcare providers directly after their registration and detect their location by the app. 

PWM.app promotes newborn care, women adapting the ability to pregnancy world. (Not only moms can register, but also doctors can.)

Doctors may be: 

1- Students will receive a course to deal with non-surgical emergencies .

2- Physicians will be seen to mothers depend on location. Also, she can get online advice from any available doctor.

The mother who registered will classify to 2 options.

1- Depend on her status, PWM.app will send a survey to supply her with the proper care

  1.a. Pregnant women will insert

• Pregnancy month to supply her with articles that benefit her pregnancy stage as food, medication to prevent anomalies. 
• Job to supply her with articles, videos about pregnancy security mechanisms in different job conditions. 
• Location to save herself in emergencies by overviewing the nearest physician's map or asking available physicians online.

  1.b. Women who have delivered a baby will insert the previous data plus newborn birth-date 

• To supply her with a suitable vaccination timetable, send her vaccination time-reminder, dates of near ministry vaccination campaigns. 
• Also, to notify her with articles about age-related diseases, prevention mechanisms. 
• To supply the Ministry with detailed birth data to send qualified mobile campaigns for those remote areas.

       Many countries have slums, rural, and inaccessible areas that lack medical facilities. Unfortunately, Egypt is one of those. Besides, Egypt has a high percentage of uneducated young women who lack skills needed in emergencies and in daily health problems that resulted in increase mortality rates in those regions. For example, some people die from wrong medical knowledge that shared on social media like what happened in nowadays pandemic. I experienced such things when I was going to some of those areas with Resala convoys that responsible for measure vital signs in inaccessible areas and teach them some heath and hygiene tips that qualify them for the pregnancy world and protect them from common infections. Nowadays, I don't have access to offer this course due to COVID 19, so PWM will provide it via affording articles, videos, health tips notification.  Also, PWM will have a vital role in removing rituals and myths that lead to death in some cases via providing online access with doctors.

PWM idea has created to expand access to qualified care for new mothers, newborns, and women by offering an online consulting system with physicians, vaccine notification that decrease the risk for newborns infection, online knowledge to enhance the medical experience of women and mothers.

My app is unique because it provides online and offline. The first app makes vaccination timetable to neonates depend on the age and gives the mother information about the near vaccination camp coordinated by the ministry. It does not just give information about pregnancy no. it gives pregnancy advice depending on your job and your location. The first app that allows a map for doctors to choose the nearest and a map for a doctor to choose the nearest case needs help. It makes groups that join women and doctors in the same region as what's app. The first app that teaches the medical student to provide a preparatory course and let them go to the cases to follow her up and make a report. The last advantage will enhance the medical student experience in dealing with cases.

My app evolves the technology of google browser by specializing an app the offer information about maternal and newborn health. This app may be called Pregnancy World google. It is not hard as google to find proved information because I take some information from women in the registration process. the app depends on this information in classifying the data to offer medical information related to her case. this data is reviewed by doctors and not editable. It also evolves What's app technology by creating groups that connect women with doctors in the same region.

The idea of PWM.app has already used technology, but without supervision. I mean any woman can search for anything on google or listen to the advice of others by whats group, but this advice may be wrong because its source is not known so it is editable advice or may not have any science base. This wrong advice may lead to an increase in death rates. the app provides scientifically proven information in simple words and specialized for the information that entered by the case. Also, It provides a chat to transfer the information as What's app, but under the supervision of a specialist.

Uneducated lack skills to differentiate between reliable advice and myths so that leads to increase mortality rate. Also, Poor women lack the financial ability to follow her health and her pregnancy with a physician. Women who live in remote areas lack the energy to travel kilometers from time to time to follow up her pregnancy with a physician. When those women found an app that protects them from suffering, it will use it directly. especially, it is easy to use and can be used online and offline. That is happened by in the moment of app install and women registration, all data specialized to her case will be downloaded. When data need to be reviewed or modified, the case will be notified by a message on what's number to try to have internet access as soon as possible. The will offer free qualified care, simple courses for knowledge enhancement, map for seeing neer doctors, information about near vaccination camps coordinated by the ministry, Consultation groups supervised by doctors in the same region, consultation system with a simple price. The app will save their time, their money, and the most important thing about their health.  

Now, My solution is still a prototype. I can give a possible prediction for the required numbers

• My solution firstly will be used among women in Cairo, so the predicted number is at least 4,000 women.
• In one year, It will be 12,000 women.
• In 5 years, It will be 2 Millions. 

My target is 
1- Develop my app, finish it, and spread it among people .
2- Get SOLVE fund to achieve my app by help from technical support.
3- Increase the number of users to be millions in my country.
4- Scale-up my app to be used by other countries by making cooperation with medical companies that advise doctors and women to use it and provide the required data specialized in their countries.

The barriers are Lack of financial support needed to advance my prototype to real software save women and newborns lives.

I try to use the same concept but without an app. I make Facebook posts that guide women attached to the scientific resources and reviewed by my university doctors. I participate in many groups for pregnant women and try to remove myths and give them scientific-based information in a simple way. Also, I create simple guide for women that transform the difficult medical book data to simple guide that raise women medical experience through simple words. 

My solution created form my experience and volunteering activities, so till now, I am the only one that works on it.

This is my idea, so I am the best one to deliver the solution in an obvious way. I am a Medical student at Helwan Medical University. I plan to build an international Medical experience and use Technology to develop medical diagnostic techniques and remote care availability. For this reason, I am a member of the WHO model, and I prepare to take diploma in computer science from UOP, and I am Local Coordinator for Anti-microbial Resistance and scientific researcher at Maadi STEM school and I have already made 5 projects to Egypt Grand Challenges.

Women need these services due to save her life and newborn life and save her pregnancy and follow up her pregnancy with saving time, money, health. All services will be provided free except for the consultation request, this fee will not be collected from women who live in remote areas or poor women. the fee will be 2 dollars. Also, I am thinking about increase financial input by making life sessions coordinated by doctors to advise women, or by selling some medication that needed during pregnancy as folic acid.
