REDUCE MATERNAL AND NEONATAL MORTALITY
I offer maternity preparation since the adolescence of the girl and the boy so that they practice family planning in continuity of care. A school training kit that trains them on the process of continuing care.
1 - as of adolescence it is already necessary to raise awareness on the advantages of family planning and the consequences of its non-application and the reduction of early or unwanted pregnancies
2 - Prenatal consultation from the first month in a responsible health center, systematically during pregnancy
3 - The provision of an essential care kit for the mother and newborn in the days following birth at the hospital, even at home, which also improves the coverage of neonatal care practices, such as early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, early skin-to-skin contact between mother and infant, the perfect time to start bathing the baby and attention to hygiene, such as hand washing with soap and water and care of the umbilical cord, etc.
make phone calls to the mother in the days following delivery to monitor the mother's health, signs of infection, such as fever, foul-smelling discharge or difficulty urinating, etc.
4 - Monitoring of anemia, malaria, HIV and other harmful diseases during pregnancy and newborns
If all countries are to ensure that their health systems provide affordable, quality continuing care from the pre-pregnancy to postnatal period, women and their families need to be better informed. Women will be better able to decide for themselves whether they want a child, and to make informed decisions to have access to competent care during pregnancy and childbirth and to be able to make decisions that concern them in matters of sexuality and procreation
- Expand access to high-quality, affordable care for women, new mothers, and newborns
When a woman, her spouse and family are well informed about the health system for affordable and quality continuing care from the pre-pregnancy period to the postnatal period, they will look for the best strategy for ensuring reliable motherhood in sight about health personnel, facilities, supplies, equipment and logistics available to regulate their family planning.
Then women, their families will be able to decide for themselves whether they want a child
women then know what to do to save the lives of pregnant women and newborns and will take actions that correspond to the investment that is available to them for their maternity.
