Green Villages Sustainable Community
Supporting women and educating the public on Sustainable Lifestyles creates the solutions to combat Climate Change and Homelessness.
The solution is to establish a viable economic infrastructure based on collaborative relationships and environmentally sound lifestyles.
Current, global lifestyles are based on creating and disposing of more stuff on a limited amount of space on our planet. Creating a more service based and resource conservation strategies creates a new financial paradigm.
Women are being oppressed around the world. Including women in the business environment shows to have a greater return in equity, improve the quality of leadership, and improves emotional stability in businesses.
Due to oppression and abuse women experience it is important to provide a safe environment for them to live and work. When women are safe then they thrive and contributes to the stability of communities.
Conditions in Latin America is not that different then other countries.
Green Villages built Sustainable Community prototype will be built within two years. The prototype will be replicated in other areas. The viable community may be re-designed to fit environmental conditions where it is planned to be built.
Out-dated built systems waste valuable energy and resources. Transmitting electricity from production to users loses up to 60% of energy. Outdated water delivery, waste processing, and transmission are no longer viable. Waste processing does not remove many toxic chemicals.
Creating decentralized resource management systems reduce waste. Utilizing the latest green technology provides opportunities to conserve resources and save money.
Creating service industries to reduce the amount of waste generated reduces the pressure of municipalities to manage the waste while maintaining a revenue generating financial system.
Using the valuable products and services offered from natural systems is a very overlooked opportunity. Natural products and services are valued at $72 trillion worldwide, annually.
Including green space and gardens into urban environments improves the health and well-being of the people. Green space have been shown to reduce blood pressure, improve pregnancy out comes and many more challenges.
Changing lifestyles through education and business development impacts climate change. The current pandemic was predicted in climate change modeling.
We will be serving women and the majority of people that live in Latin America and beyond, especially in urban and city environments. Climate change is a negative environmental condition that impacts people globally. An example is Hurricane Jerry that hit Caribbean islands in September of 2019. It is important to educate and provide innovative business solutions to people in Latin America. This allows them to be part of the solution.
Providing the people with a all-inclusive model Sustainable Community offers the people with a hands on, state-of-the-art physical place gives them a way to be involved with solutions. They have the opportunity to be employed while working with classes, events, conferences, business development to clearly understand the solution to homelessness, a failing financial system, mass extinction, climate change, and business restructuring.
They will have a place to learn and live the lifestyles that are needed to combat 21st century solutions. The will be participating in the environment that creates the solutions needed for change.
The biggest change from the traditional of landscape development is our Green Villages plan is to incorporate a large amount of greenspace within the built environment. Green space cleans the air, soil and water. These resources are extremely valuable for survival of animals.
Built environments with small amounts of green space are not generating the valuable oxygen needed for survival. Due to the lack of clean, oxygen rich air then people are becoming increasingly sick. The EPA health browser provides a wealth of information on how green space impacts human health.
Many of the products and services do exist. Yet at fragmented, focused businesses. This requires wasted time spent driving around. Transportation poses is a big problem with generating greenhouse gases. We provide a one stop assemblages of products and services in one location for the convenience of the client that reduces the potential release of pollution.
What offer a different wholeistic experience. The built environment provides a healthy, safe, uplifting place through quality products and services. We include Human and Natural Capital to balance out the traditional Physical/product based capital in the financial spreadsheet.
The community is composed of seven different buildings. Each one is designed to generate revenue with a diversity of products and services. The numbers used in the following information is based on San Francisco, California, United States marketing research. The numbers are a very conservative estimate based on low to medium capacity.
Numbers are based on market trend analysis from 2013. I then used very conservative estimate on partial capacity of space and different offerings provided at the community. Note that there will be many more opportunities to create and offer products and services in the community due to the community structure. Breakdown by buildings: Building Annual Revenue Kitchen $1,454,580 Laundry $374,400 Kennel $204,960 Housing $1,050,760 Community Ctr $348,000 Garden Ctr $125,153 Mercantile (research estimate) $4,000,000 Conservative est. of Total Revenue $7,557,853.
Note: McGraw Hill Construction 2011 Outlook Industry Forecast and Trends is entitled that “Green Trends are Driving Growth”. The McGraw Hill manuscript states “Sustainability is now also viewed as a business opportunity – tied to product development, marketing strategies, research budgets, and ultimately the external metrics measuring these business benefits – increased ROI, customer retention and competitive advantage. In fact, 75% of firms view sustainability as consistent with their profit missions”.
