To allow human beings access to a meaningful life, by using tools to understand where their mental and emotional health stands and how by making themselves better can reach opportunities to improve their realities.
What The Future is a toolkit that aims to become a learning model that comes from the inside out to each individual. First by recognizing individual needs to address socio-emotional realities, then identifying our qualifications and soft skills and how to improve them, so finally we can understand the evolution of the world to choose where and how we can generate impact through our daily work and professional careers.
In the Americas and the Caribbean, has been historically justified and normalized abuse and transgression, this root must change immediately so the region thrives. To allow a culture of self-care, mental and emotional health is the basis that gives way to long-term cognitive learning.
In Mexico alone, 56% of young people between the ages of 15 and 19 complete a higher cycle of secondary education
While compared to the OECD average of 29.2%, only 12.8% of students in Mexico have a high ability to adapt.
Until 2015, 16% of the population between 25 and 64 years old had completed higher education, this percentage is well below the OECD average of 36%.
According to a study carried out by the recruitment and selection company Hays in 2018, "79% of companies in Mexico planned to hire specialized personnel, however, they claim to have a shortage of candidates with experience for positions of global reach, especially professionals for managers and coordinators (level 4), and specialists and analysts (level 5), who occupy 80 percent of company turnover. "
While in the region, 168 million people continue to live on the threshold of poverty.
Allowing people to access a learning model where socio-emotional needs are understood and resolved and these transcend towards an improvement in school performance and then in the labor market, will undoubtedly generate a positive impact on the generation of resources and the distribution of poverty for the region.
Until now, we have implemented different models of workshops to understand what are the requirements among the different segments of the population that we can attend to, whether they are teenagers, young adults or people over 30 or 40 years old who are seeking to resolve some doubts about how to improve their work, family, personal or social situation that makes them uncomfortable.
The solution aims to solve your needs through the following steps:
1. Strengthen individuals by recognizing and managing their emotions and mental health.
2. Create a critical awareness of their cognitive needs for work, what their soft skills are and how to improve them.
3. Recognize a set of values and priorities to establish an ethical work framework that transcends the world today and into the future.

4. We are in the phase of the online academy where through videos, practices, virtual reality and a remote monitoring model, they can continue learning.

What The Future currently attends nearly 1,000 people per year. In one year we intend to grow 5x so we can reach a platform of over 5,000 people. With the correct investment and team recruitment, What The Future can easily spread the message for over 50,000 people in the first year, so we can reach 5,000,000 in five years from now.
For the following year we aim to Increase our base of followers and users by social media and online workshops. Also we are looking for partnerships that allow us to have a bigger exposure.
For the next five years we are looking to replicate our current solutions across Latin America and the Caribbean and to implement Virtual Reality scenarios to have a better experience in the learning process.
It is mainly financial, since this is a need that is just getting recognition in Latin America, people are not used to pay for their mental and emotional health. Once we get the point of equilibrium or enough investment, we can recruit a larger team of people working to develop better and more innovative content.
