Expertrons
In Latin America, the percentage of educated population is relatively low. They lack career guidance and that's where Expertrons can bridge gap. In our entrepreneurial journeys, we have taken over 5000 interviews. Our experiences in the hiring made us realise the issues faced by applicants. They are learning from either their peers or alumni. Many of whom might not even have experience with bigger organisations. They need to move beyond their own colleges and access the alumni umbrella from different colleges to get the right advice. The best person to tell you how to clear a particular interview is to ask someone who has actually cleared it. Yet again this growth hack by this mentor needs to be captured using our videobot technology and made available to everyone. These career hacks can provide a large young population with access to better professional growth and create huge economic impact.
The Latin American population is ~8.72% of the world population (~626 Million). The youth unemployment rate in Latin America triples that of the adult population. The average youth unemployment rate was 19.6 per cent, which means that one of every five youth seeking employment in the region
cannot find a job.
A consistent takeaway was the unpreparedness of all candidates, with lack of access to the right network of mentors. In the ideation phase of interviews with over 50 final year students in Monterrey, they gathered similar feedback regarding the lack of personalised guidance to clear an interview.
There is a strong need among placement students, for whom interviews are a black box. While textual content may be sparsely available (with questionable authenticity), there is no single platform to help aspirants get the closest interaction to an interview they can clear be it with fortune 500 companies or the Ivy leagues like MITs / Harvards / Stanfords of the world.
Expertrons aspires to build the largest library of interview experiences and recommend candidates with the most suited career paths, basis their interest, capabilities and data-backed analyses (our AI recommendation engine).
Expertrons is amongst the top 3 startups across the globe for TecLabs Accelerator - Latin America’s best accelerator by ITESM (Mexico's top-ranked university) with 26 campuses. We have deployed one of our team members in Tec De Monterrey campus and are running a pilot to understand the needs of students there. Expertrons has the largest videobot library of career hacks with 10,000+ minutes of content where experts share their interview experiences from BCG, Google, Goldman Sachs, Pepsi - Mexico, Rakuten - Japan, IIM, ISB & many more!
Our videobot technology creates a video call experience with experts using their pre-recorded sessions of getting placed with top firms & best B-schools who share their career hacks for professional success.

Aspirants can learn from the interview experience of other experts, book a consultation with them to get career advice, resume review or mock interview practice & also get referred in case their profile matches an opening at their firm.
Expertrons is essentially Netflix for interview prep. It is a platform which will help professionals become interview ready. Aspirants learn from the interview experience of experts recommended by their AI algorithm that matches the career paths of the users with the listed mentors.

Currently, the only way for aspirants to decide is: to follow the easiest accessible career option and struggle their way to crack the interview. Today, that's done with the help of the sparse questionable textual content available for interview preparation (from Quora / Glassdoor / Youtube / Google) that is not personalized/ relevant for each user. Further, the alumni network for all these institutions is very weak and non-dependable/ accessible, which breaks the chain of expert advice for the aspiring batch.

We are currently serving 35,000 people. Top tier college associations, like IIT Kanpur, NIT Jaipur, IIT Goa, NIT Silchar, Xaviers Institute and more, are our valuable customers: students from these colleges are early adopters of the product.
We aim at serving a half a million users in one year's duration and 5 million users in the duration of five years.
The platform is aimed at all professionals globally. Expertrons has unicorn potential. Taking it global gives us an immense opportunity.
The Latin American population is ~8.72% of the world population (~626 Million). The youth unemployment rate in Latin America triples that of the adult population. The average youth unemployment rate was 19.6 per cent, which means that one of every five youth seeking employment in the region cannot find a job.
Developing Nations like India are very similar to the Latin American Market, and our experience of building business here gives us upper hand on understanding the under-served market to provide them with the solutions needed.
We are building this product - Expertrons to serve the global audience. Where the students of Latin America and other countries can learn from the interview experience of other experts/alumni, book a consultation call with them to get career advice, resume review or mock interview practice & also get referred in case their profile matches an opening at their firm.
Expertrons connect professionals and students/people looking to change jobs. Our AI recommendation engine not only matches the right aspirant with the right career option (companies) but that in return also matches the right companies with the right talent.
The barriers that we currently face and are expecting to face in the upcoming years include:
1) Building a robust AI based scalable system to serve aspirant population across India and Latin American Market as our primary aim is to serve the underserved population across the globe.
2) We are also looking forward to establish a patent for our technology so that we are protected from anyone wanting to make, use or sell our invention without our permission.
3) In order to serve the Global audience, we have to build a system which serves the native speaking audience as well. So that everyone can use the product with no Language barriers.
4) Also a challenge to close our Series A round in the next 12-15 months to scale the venture and reach a larger set of audience.
To overcome the barriers in the above mentioned questions, we are planning to solve it by:
1) We are shifting our technology stack to a robust database and a scalable stack which is used by the likes of Instagram to ensure our platform is able to handle load
2) We are using our current investor connections to identify the US patent process & ensure that we are legally protected on the same.
3) Regarding the language barrier, while attending the 5 day boot-camp in Mexico we had developed a Spanish demo which got us selected for the Tec Labs accelerator. Though it will take a while, but with the core technology team which we have built after our Seed round we will be able to serve the market in different languages.
4) Our existing investors include:
a) A large VC firm which does Series A & above - who can participate in the next round.
b) Also Iceland studios - who have done their first Indian investment in us, who will love to do a follow-on based on our progress.
c) Being part of Tec Labs (Tec De Monterrey) gives us access to their 100+ investor to whom we get to pitch during the demo day 6 months down the line
- My solution is already being implemented in Latin America/Caribbean
We participated in a 5 day boot camp in Tec De Monterrey (Mexico) along with an international conference (with sessions from Mexico President, Harvard Professor, Edx CEO from MIT & other university delegates from Latin America). Expertrons has been selected as top 3 startups across the globe (between other startups from Canada, Spain, Brazil stc many of whom were in their later stage) for TecLabs Equity Free Accelerator - to pilot with Mexico’s top ranked university with 26 campuses and over a lakh students and perks worth half a million dollars!
We have deployed one of our resource for 4 months at the Tec Labs accelerator for the pilot.

In their personal entrepreneurial journeys they have taken over 5000 interviews and hired people from IIT, IIM, tier 2 or tier 3 colleges across the country. Their experiences in the hiring process made them realize the issues being faced by this generation of applicants. They are learning from only two sources: peers or alumni. They need to move beyond their own colleges and access the alumni umbrella from different colleges to get the right consultation. The best person to tell you how to crack a particular interview is to ask someone who has actually cracked it. Yet again this growth hack by this mentor needs to be captured using technology and made available to everyone.
They spent 3 good months on ideation/research - visiting the IIT Bombay campus right from December onward (placement season) & personally talking to over 300+ final year students to understand their perspective of the platform they are creating. This is where they came up with the Solution - Expertrons and are best-placed to deliver the same.
We currently have 30+ College Associations all over India to on-board
their 40,000+ students & 500+ mentors
