YouIQ

YouIQ is a learning app that uses a combination of the science of motivation, distributed learning, and other neurosciences foundations to engage learners by integrating gamification into critical learning paths. We focus on the engagement elements of games—and not necessarily just trying to make things “fun.”

Here comes YouIQ; a learning app that embeds game elements such as mystery, action, risk-taking, mastery, visible signs of progress and emotional connection.

Mystery exists when there is a gap between known (Disadvantaged youths) and unknown (future of work). YouIQ helps learners to experience the gap and realizes that resources/skills exist to fill that gap but they need to get it. YouIQ leverages the power of mystery in gamification to arouse curiosity within the learner and motivates her to fill in the gaps between her and the future of work whilst allowing her to subconsciously discover and tackle tasks that interest her. With mystery, YouIQ draws in the learner and encourage her to challenge her level of reasoning with the help of YouIQ micro-learning materials from several angles.

Right from the beginning, the learner must do something. Each action taken leads the learner making a decision, mapping out a plan of action or moving from point A to point B. The learner is now challenged with strategizing what to do next, helping her unleash the critical thinking, adaptability and the entrepreneurial DNA in her.

When taking an action or making a decision at each stage of their learning process, YouIQ users have something to risk. When they feel something is at risk, they pay closer attention, focus their energy, and are engaged with the task at hand. Therefore, demonstrating mastery within the learning environment and, more importantly, to themselves. Throughout each learning module, learners get visible signs of moving through the learning materials. This is in the form of badges and achievements.

YouIQ fills learners with emotions ranging from anger to elation, sadness to enthusiastic happiness. Humans are quite adept at recalling learning when it is tied to strong emotions.

I would like you to think of the last task you did today. Does it involve your tech skills? Critical thinking skills? Or your flexibility skills? The tasks may have been easily done with a flip of a finger. However, disadvantaged youths do not have such luxury.

They do not understand the future of work, it’s something new to them and most of them have not thought about it let alone working on themselves to have an edge.
The gross lack of learning tools to specifically aimed and tailored to disadvantaged youth is not helping matters.

Scaling YouIQ will help youths work with and control AI tools to bring about more jobs and huge innovation to several sectors of the economy.

E.g. During the first YouIQ test, we used an AI assistant to provide alternatives and present trade-offs while youths that was trained in assets management using YouIQ ultimately decide the course of action for the trade-offs.

For the future of work, we aim to put you with AI, not you replaced by AI.

The impact YouIQ will make on disadvantaged youths and even any youths from all works of life are,  it will not only equip them with skills but help them think fast and outside the box, help them unleash their true abilities, value, and worth.

Nonetheless, the disadvantaged youth will benefit more because it will help them conquer inferiority complex and depression. YouIQ gives them a sense of belonging, hail them when they successfully complete a task at any stage in their learning process while preparing them for the future of work which starts now.

With Machine learning, YouIQ builds emotional connections with learners and subconsciously connects their desire to YouIQ. To do that, our personalized analytic monitors each user behavior on the platform to know what triggers each user emotion, interest and then explore and segment them, to engage the user. The more often a user completes these experiences, the more likely they are “self-triggered” to come back again and again, bring in their friends. And yes, YouIQ is also designed to be learned with friends as they will serve as your life support, guarantees 50% chance of survival to the next stage etc.

Humans enjoy overcoming challenges. It runs in our DNA. YouIQ has leveraged this by challenging learners at every opportunity.

YouIQ learners start learning with a challenge: something that is difficult, that requires deep thinking, and not guessing.

E.g. YouIQ make them look around their underserved communities, identify a problem that aligns with that particular learning module they are on and inputs it in 7 keywords.  With AI, YouIQ splits in 2. First YouIQ makes the 7 keywords problem a protagonist, spread them out and challenges her (the learner) to a fight. Second YouIQ helps her map out strategic move solutions it.

For a start, we've planned to partner with some telecommunication companies to leverage their platform to identify and send the above message to disadvantaged youths with YouIQ download link from the app store.

In case we are not fortunate to secure grant/investment, we'll keep working 6 hours during the day and spend the other 8 hours working on part-time jobs to keep money coming in.

We'll write with our knowledge and publish on Kindle Direct Publishing within a day and on Hourspent and have everyone connected to us on Social networks buy a copy for $1.99 and leave reviews on Amazon, then raise the price.

As YouIQ brings in money, we'll work less for others and more for YouIQ  By this point, we are working on growth, not worrying about sustainability.

Needed capital to work with top talent, partners and right infrastructures. With the right people behind YouIQ,  we can drive costs down and embed a mindset within the workplace culture that makes people sensitive to costs and ways to streamline how the organization communicates, operates and connects the dots of opportunities.

Without the right people working on YouIQ, it can’t grow and it certainly makes it difficult to sustain momentum over time. Business is about people and without the right people a business can’t grow and mature.

The reason why we are helping to solve is to equip all of us with the required skills to survive this tech era.
