ENDS 101 Group 50
Problem we are committed to solving is work time distractions. There are too many distractions available while trying to do work on a computer. Our solution is to create a web extension "Lock Down Browser". The extension will allow you to set a list of accessible websites you are allowed to access during working hours. Not being able to wonder off on web pages that will distract you from focusing on the task at hand will minimize time needed to complete projects. There will be additional attributes to make the extension user friendly to include the ability to stream music, set break times, pass codes to end session early, and many other additional features to make your work period as productive as possible.
The problem we are trying to fix is faced by any and every community that relies on computer and internet access to complete work. This is a large scale of the working population that is affected with work time distractions.
We will be working on surveys and questionnaires to receive feedback on how well the product is working and areas we can improve. The target population will be the work force as well as a large number of studies aimed towards student populations.
We will providing the population with a web interface extension for any and all internet browsers.
