AI and RPG: a new approach to learn new skills
At the beginning of health studies, students do not have the opportunity to interact with patients in real life to learn. However, they solve clinical cases in the classroom. Despite the above, learning does not allow them to develop other soft skills. It is proposed to generate an RPG that exposes clinical cases for resolution. The AI will modify the scenarios according to the elections. You can work as a team, manage time and promote critical thinking.
In the most universities, the medical career do not permit that students at the initial years interact with patients. Therefore, many students do not develop communication skills, sensitivity and teamwork. This affects the quality of medical care and generates errors in the diagnosis and therefore in the treatment.
Diagnostic errors were responsible for 17% of preventable adverse hospital events. Observational studies suggest that primary care doctors mis about 12 million diagnoses each year, and that about half of these misses causes cause patients significant harm.
Actually, in Mexico legal demands against doctors are more common than than 20-30 years ago. There are a lot of complaints related to medical attention. Some causes of this problem due to some students do no develop soft skills in early years.
I proposed to create a RPG based in AI with the objective to show clinical cases. The player will increase the level if resolve the cases. If the player made networks or work in team these activities will generate more points. Each level have more access to lab exams or other kind of test, with the objective to find better treatments based on diagnostics. The cases have time, therefore the player should resolve the question in a faster way. Some clinical cases will be resolves if the player work with others players, only. Artificial intelligence change the profiles and cases according the elections of the players. The teachers could monitor the results.
The RPG could be available in mobile devices or platforms in the school. Even in the first year of medical school the students only could find clinical cases in the hospital and load them in algorithm.
- Increase opportunities for people - especially those traditionally left behind and most marginalized – to access digital and 21st century skills, meet employer demands, and access the jobs of today and tomorrow
- Support underserved people in fostering entrepreneurship and creating new technologies, businesses, and jobs
- Concept
This RPG is innovative because is a way to work solving problems like in a real life. Could develop soft skills like: communication, work team, time management, creative thinking and resolution of problems with other players

Now, 250 students in campus
In one year may be near to 2000 students
In five years, 10,000
I expect to know if my idea is viable. I want to construct the prototype and look the response with a little group of students
I do not have experience creating RPG games. Do not have programmers in this sense.
I want to show the project in international universities where have the capability
- I am planning to expand my solution to one or more of ServiceNow’s primary markets
I want to expand my solution to other universities in US and Latin America. However, I want to contact UK universities.
- Not registered as any organization
part time: me and 4 medical students
We do not have expertise in programmatic RPG :(
