Braille Talk
- Pre-Seed
Facilitate visually impaired people to learn how to read braille codes.
Everyone has the right to learn, work, and prepare their future. But for some people it becomes more challenging because of the disability that they have. Disability that I want to lift in this running program is visually impaired or blind. Blind is a general term used for the condition of a person experiencing a disturbance or obstacle in the sense of sight. Blind people may not be able to see the color of the world, but their imaginations may be more colorful than we have. Based on that, I am sure everyone can change the world if it begins with dreams, imagination, and strong beliefs. But dreaming is not enough, we still need to know the world more broadly by learning from books.
Talking about learning from books, blind people have a special letter to read that is known as braille. Braille codes are a kind of touch writing where each letter or number has a particular formation that is displayed with bulges so it is easy to touch. This is one of the way for them to learn and get to know the wider world through books.
For some blind people the opportunity about to learn how to read the braille is very easy to get, but for some others the opportunity to get to know the world through braille until now has not come true. Therefore the program that I want to offer to solve the problem is by providing a braille books with sensors attached to each braille bracket, where as the reader begins to touch the bulge the meaning of the bulge will appear in the form of sound. So, by that way they can learn to know the Braille anytime and anywhere. This electronic book is called The Braille Talk
There are still a lot of blind people including young generation who didn’t get the opportunity to learn how to read the braille because there is no one can teach them how to read it. This situation make us who have a friends or families with the same problem must be more aware because the less of skills such as reading impact on their knowledge and skills to compete in future work opportunity.
The solution that I offer can solve this problem because The Braille Talk can accelerate the user in understanding each code on braille by hear the sound come out while they touch the sensor. And by learn how to read the braille, we hope that they may improve their self and find their ability through knowledge. So, by the improvement of reading skill, blind people especially the young generation of blind people have more preparation to face the competitive of the workforce in the future.
The First target is to cooperate with the companies to produce the Braille Talk. The Second target is Partnering with social homes and Disability School to distribute the books to those who need. And the third target is to give the opportunity to more than 500 blind people about how to read a braille code With self-taught by using braille talk book, so by reading they be able to improve their knowledge and skill to face the future.

Braille Talk is not just like another ordinary braille book. Braille Talk can help most blind people who didn’t get the opportunity to learn how to read braille code because there is no one can teach them how to read the braille. This innovation can make them learn with self-taught and faster than any other method because by Braille Talk they can learn how to read the braille every time in everywhere.
Braille Talk Focusing in upgrading the life of blind people especially for the young generations who didn’t have the opportunity to read the braille before. By giving them the opportunity to read the braille with self-taught, means that we bring something in their life and their future.
The Braille Talk will be loaned by distributing it to a social homes and Disability School. And after the goal (All the blind people in some social homes and Disability School can be able read the braille) is reached, we will Retrieve the Braille Talk and Lend it again to the other social homes and Disability School.
