A technology literacy outreach program for disadvantaged kids/teens/youths in rural areas.
The Roothub Tech 360 Tour seeks to solve the problem of diminished technology and skills awareness of disadvantaged kids/teens/youths living in rural areas who are cut off from standard technology infrastructure like Electricity, Internet and Educational/vocational training.
The tour would be carried out by setting up training centers in areas of ICT, skills acquisition, digital skills, and career advancement. These training centers would be equipped with training tools (multimedia, internet, ICT facilities) as well as certified volunteer trainers.
The literacy program would increase the number of technology literate young people as well as provide the needed skills to spur employability and drive self reliance. Roothub Tech 360 Tour would address youth restiveness, force down the percentage of unemployed youths, spur the shift to a connected Global world, entrench the possibilities of leveraging technology, and providing skills needed in career advancement/self-sustenance to youths.
Access to technology, skills acquisition training for career advancement and self-sustenance as well as connection to the Global world via online and onsite trainings.
Roothub training and internship programs in cities across Nigeria, for the past 3 years, has witnessed a total of 2,000 youths trained in self-employment/technology/skills acquisition. Thereby, enriching the workforce and economic opportunities in the States of operations.

Track via signup on our online freelance/enterprise marketplace/directory/database - 3,000 self-employed youth in ICT and digital skills.

The collaborative method of sharing skills using simple technology like smartphones and multimedia equipments to sensitize and educate disadvantaged youth in rural communities without access to infrastructure.
our training is hands-on to equip youth with transferable life skills through participation.
Through Mobile pop-up training centers as well as Establishment of Tech clubs.
These trainings are free to participants and access is by participation. No entry level barriers as we have developed modules to suit the age strata.
