First, brands don't know wether if their packaging is recyclable or not, and on top of it: what does it really mean "recyclable"? Since 2012, TriCiclos has been working with companies from all sizes and countries to determine the recyclability potential of different packaging formats, racking a 15,000+ portfolio of analyzed SKUs under the proprietary tool called "Recyclability Index".
But now the time has come: e-commerce is booming, the 1.3M yearly active visits to TriCiclos recycling stations demand the inclusion of technology and a rightful power to take more sustainable choices based in data. This is the framework where The 3C ReInForcer (TriCiclos REcyclability INdex) is born, a digital tool that allows every person to know what is the recyclability potential of their purchases and what to do afterwards, whilst reinforcing the habit-creation loop to change people's minds and hearts towards recycling.
