Haitian fishing federation of sport at the sea
1R) I am committed to solving the problem of marine pollution in Haiti and across the Caribbean, as well as Latin America in order to protect the flora and fauna.
R2) I propose a concrete solution namely to set up an awareness campaign through mass sports such as: plastic jogging, football for the environment, recreational fishing for the development of fishing tourism. Recycle waste and collect solid residues in order to reuse them for the economic growth of the community.
R3) My solution could positively change the lives of people in America and the Caribbean, if there is an awareness in the communities so that we better protect our environment through the methods of production and consumption. In the meantime, we use natural methods in order not to pollute the terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
1R) The magnitude of the problem in the communities in which I work in america and in the caribbean is very complex, namely the discharges are not controlled, the marine pollution caused the disappearance of the marine species whether it be birds or seafood. Many giant cyclone sabotage some islands of the caribbean and nothing could prevent them.
2R) 95% of all people are affected
3R) The contributing factors to the problem related to my solution are: environmental, socio-economic, legal and civic action.
1R) I will use a participatory method in my project in order to understand their need so that I can reach help to them. I will collect its data so that I use the best possible resources which can facilitate me in bringing the targeted solution.
2R) The solution will meet their needs after we can identify the problems and we will set up a sustainable project to be able to solve its problems.once the solution comes, the change will come for the good of the community.
1R) I will offer the population with whom I work a service that meets the requirements of corporate social responsibility or offer organic products with bio-degradable materials that can help protect the global environment.
2R) I will use the inbound / outbound process and use new modern technologies for a green economy.
- Reduce single-use plastics and waste through promoting consumer behavior change and incentivizing re-use and recycling
- Enable the public sector, especially municipalities, to pilot and implement new and innovative systems in their waste management
- Growth
What makes my solution innovative is the unhealthy behavior of people in the community on the way they use plastic waste for consumption. Organizing an awareness campaign makes it possible to raise awareness and train them on the harmful effects of human interference on nature.
I am waiting for my solution to solve the problem, the effect the population is involved in a mass sport to raise awareness and train them change is possible. Because first you have to change bad behavior to achieve a good attitude of human action in the environment and being all sectors are concerned.

1R) I currently serve over 2,000,000 people because my project covers the western department.
2R) In a year, I will serve more than 4,000,000 people through our awareness and training campaign.
3R) In 5 years I will serve more than 10,000,000 people through a mass campaign to all the media, public or private institution, as well as civil society organizations.
1R) I measured the positive impact of my solution as follows:
Environmentally, health conditions are good and nature is not vulnerable.
On the social level people feel responsible for the proper functioning of human life and lead a life of balance.
On the economic level, people control their purchasing power by saving plastic waste to transform it into finished products.
My goals over the next five and five years are to educate and train millions of people in several regions in america and the caribbean about protecting the environment effectively or effectively.
The obstacles that currently exist for me to reach my goals for the next few years are: - I do not have the means to finance my program through advertising and facilitate a return of funding to the community.
- The technical means that I use are not standard and do not respond to new modern technologies.
- On the legal level we do not have laws in force on the right to the protection of the environment.
- On the cultural level, it is necessary to establish exchange programs between the diversified communities to arrive at common ideas on the modes of functioning of human life. Thus to make commercial exchanges between the countries in a bilateral market.
I plan to address each obstacle individually, highlighting the resources I have or pursue and I will use them effectively and concretely to achieve better results.
- I am planning to expand my solution to Latin America and the Caribbean
I plan to extend my solution to Latin America and the Caribbean because I would like to export seafood to its regions to make it easier for people to eat much healthier.
- Nonprofit
In my organization, there are more than twenty people who work in administration or staff such as: 13 people full time and 7 people part time. As well as 10 people have contractual as instructor and training guide.
Me and my team is in a better position to offer this solution because I am specializing in environmental management and my team is participating in coastal clean-up programs but we consider it necessary to reflect on sustainable solutions. my team are all qualified and very capable who can work on a complex problem in order to provide lasting and effective solutions.
I work with the departmental directorate of the Ministry of the Environment in Haiti and the Haitian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a memorandum of understanding on a training project on the impact of pollution on marine life in Haiti. This protocol aims to set up awareness programs for the Haitian community on the environment.
My economic model is social investment through fishermen's associations which can help them to strengthen their production capacities and support them technically for sustainable economic growth in the fishing sector. Thus to facilitate the population to have the possibility of making purchases on the market with an affordable price and to allow them to create a formal market.
I work on sustainable projects on investment in order to provide space for entrepreneurs and charities to bring us their donations, as well as apply for grant programs which will allow us to have a lot of funding to cover our annual expenses. We have in perspective marketing agencies for seafood products on the national market to achieve our concept of wealth creation.
I submit my candidacy to be able to overcome the obstacles of financing the budget of the federation and other in addition, to better execute our projects to advance to other project. this funding as soon as succeeding will make it easier for me to realize short and long term projects.
