From these facts, the Dream Makers will be priceless tool for Lao people to exercise their dreams.
The impact is “increasing opportunity for all in learning and creating a community, where creativity of our nation will be enhanced”. The uniqueness of “Dream Makers-DMs” is a “technology with human soul”, meaning that training contents can come from various sources but they are adapted to local values and each interest's group. Our communication strategy will illustrate DMs as Laotian best friend, who are going to help them reaching dreams, by giving online and offline techniques and skills that they can learn everywhere.
The online technology helps us to reach more people. There is limited online learning in Lao. By using our language, this tool will become friendlier to Lao community and motivate uneducated and disadvantage group to learn new techniques.
Human creates contents for people and we utilize online technology to communicate with people. The platform will consolidate various groups of people, for example, training courses designers of each field, content contributors, graphic designers, and experts. Knowledge will not strict to only Lao wisdom but we are ready to bring new modern techniques from developed countries by adapting to local audiences. This will help Lao people get up-to-date information from well known experts or new way of thinking in other places. Knowledge transfer through online learning and offline activities support will strengthen critical thinking, creativity and promote innovation across Laos.
Through online, we will open a website and applications as think-tank hub. The users can register to the website and download applications for learning. During pilot project, offline program will be based in Vientiane capital with possible to extend to provinces. The center operates training courses according to current potential Lao business sectors and future job sectors. The team will define courses for helping Lao people learning most up-to-date skills at each period of time. At initial stage, we are looking for financial and technical support from SOLVE or international development community who are looking for the best possible way to develop Laos. The criteria that we are proposing link to job creation, gender gap, humanity and sustainable development.
In general, Dream Makers will benefit to Lao economy directly, by engaging with local citizen and improving the lives of Lao people, especially disadvantage groups who are striving for a better life. We are ready to develop commercial model after the products is successfully developed, if our financial supporters wish to do or considering charging from offline program.
We are ready to contribute our property as office space for piloting period. It will be the home of Dream Makers staffs and offline-supporting program for participants. It is located in the capital city center of Laos. The cost of renting will be around $7,000-8,000 USD/year.
The tools are nothing without good contents. In our past two years, we found that Lao people are looking for something short, useful, interesting and they can apply directly to daily life. Other issue is the accessibility via online. Most Lao people have mobile but mismatching of audiences’ devices and DM’s platform can prevent them for not being able to access our platform. Literacy might be problem for ethnic minority. Therefore, we should strict to shorter and effective messages, good meaning and rich ideas. Creating variety contents to motivate audiences, such as short video, sound and picture are challenging task.

Major reason is: SOLVE includes different parts of solution makers, for example, academic, politics, business and much more. Social problems come from various parts of domestic issues, such as, religion, laws, tradition and technology. One solution from one stakeholder might not enough. Academic researcher has capability to analyse. Politician has authority to issue law. Businessmen think on generating income. Our hope is to work with highly competent people across industries in order to bring sustainable development. Working with mixed and democratic community like SOLVE will open our mindset to come up with effective solutions for future youth employment in Laos.
This application, “We” and “Our” are constantly used. This refers to God and me. God is part of team, he is whom always never allowing me to give up, never give in, but try more. It would be nice, if SOLVE will become a part of youth solution in Laos.
We prefer to work with international experts in various fields, International Development Agencies.
