ecozone systems
Poverty cannot be eliminated on a sustainable basis without moving the people at the bottom of the pyramids to a productive environment and help them skill up to earn enough to afford sustainable living. Bringing up families in sustainable and resilient cities will help them and their next generations move out of the poverty forever.
Affordability Gap
UN SDG standard, sustainable and full-featured economic zones built with low cost design at low cost land away from the big cities can provide both jobs and sustainable living to skilled workers. The town concept can be delivered 100s of time with mortgage financing across the country and can change lives of hundreds of million people in Bangladesh.
The challenge is there is an affordability gap between the cost of building such towns and ability of people to pay the mortgage to move in there.
We are serving the people at the bottom of the pyramid by helping them skill up and find them jobs in specially designed full featured low cost economic zone that are feasible for both workers and their employers. Sustainable living will also help save the planet for everyone else.
300 economic zones for 20K families of 5 members each will change lives of 30 million people and add another US$300 billion to the current US$300 billion economy of the country and create millions of new jobs in construction sector and 100s of new developers and building material industries in the country to fulfil the local demand and a great potential to export their products to other countries.
Our target is to skill up low wage workers to meet the industry requirement and be able to earn at least US$500 a month so that with a family income of $1000 (assuming husband and wife are working), they should be able to pay US$300 a month mortgage for a low cost US$50K house in the economic zone. We are working on cutting back the cost of a house further to a lower level.
There are numerous vocational skill building programs available in the market that are quite effective in building skills in a few months. However, in order to make the earnings sustainable, we have developed an online social innovators and entrepreneurs program that handholds participants from ideation to enterprise ecosystem building process. The program has been specifically designed for the youth to turn them into job creators rather than job seekers in order to prepare them to face the forthcoming challenges of cognitive automation (AI) and robotics in the job market.
The low cost full featured economic zones are designed in a way that makes them a preferred place to startup or move a business and stay competitive in the market. This will ensure we have enough jobs for the people who we want to move in to those town.
There are going to be additional benefits of building 100s of economic zone aways from the big cities. For example, less traffic on the roads and less burden on urban systems in big cities. The system is failing due to too many people in those cities.
- Accelerate economic growth and create high-paying jobs across geographies and demographics in Bangladesh, especially among marginalized populations and youth
- Provide equitable and cost-effective access to services such as healthcare, education, and skills training to enable Bangladeshi society to adapt and thrive in an environment of changing technology and demands

- Scale
- Low cost SDG complaint town systems that deliver economic zones with sustainable living.
- Online scalable social innovators and entrepreneurs program to provide a future proof career path to the youth.
- Deep search for the existing town systems and ranking them to choose the best ones for our economic zone town system ensures that no other town can be a better place than ours to startup or move your business or industry.
- Based on our observation and study of the history, we believe that if we are able to create job opportunities in our economic zones, we can move people in those towns to work and live there no matter how far they are located from the downtown or big cities.
- Based on our observation, we believe that when people are moved in a diverse community, their behavior not only becomes more tolerant to other cultures and religions but they also begin to embrace positive traits from each other to stay competitive in learning and career development. This change brings them and their future generations out of the poverty trap for ever.

After testing our online startup foundry platform with 100s of students over past couple of years, we are now in the process of rolling it out as social innovators and entrepreneurs program in universities in Malaysia. The program has no enrolment fee and it helps students build new skills with an R&D based learning methodology and begin to earn money or stocks in our startup projects within their first 3 months of the training.
We are going to introduce the program in one of the universities in Malaysia this year and roll it out to other universities in the country and abroad next year.
As our first project, we are working with a newly built modern town in Malaysia to move those digital workers/freelancers who are living in underdeveloped cities using our co-op model. In addition, we are consolidating a land of 1000 hectares in Philippines to build an economic zone according to our concept.
Our role in building towns is limited to (a) build the concept and feasibility based on the requirements of target workers and business communities and (b) build ecosystems and joint ventures to deliver it.
