Casper Program
- Pre-Seed
Casper Foundation is a youth empowerment organisation that works on the personal and career development of university students while engaging them in social initiatives.
People in our community choose to live a life with an elephant in the room. We see beggars on the streets, unsafe pedestrian pathways, women being harassed on a daily basis on the streets of Dhaka. Yet we have chosen this as being “normal”.
On another end, university students in Bangladesh lack access to opportunities for social student life events, as well as personal and career development resources. Not only are a majority of students living the same life following a path to no self-actualization, but students are unsuccessful in doing so due to lack of self-development during university life.
Casper Foundation wants to change the mindset of our community and our youth.
By engaging university students in social initiatives which address real-life social problems, we hope to create the next generation of social changemakers in our community. Throughout the process, we hope to provide training and grooming to our volunteers for free-of-cost to enable them to develop their personal and career development skills to ensure they are successful in their lives after university.
In our pilot year (2017), Casper Foundation aims to:
- Establish volunteer chapters in 10 universities around Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Work with 300+ volunteers
- Execute 30+ social outreach projects in our community
- Provide consistent inspiration, guidance, and mentorship for our volunteers
- Host 6 developmental workshops, seminars, or training for our volunteers
- Create at least 30+ internship, job, or placement opportunities for our volunteers with our partnered corporations and institutions.
Come to formal agreements, in the form of MOUs, with university administration and track volunteer registration through verified volunteer registration links - Establish 10 university chapters in local universities in Dhaka, Bangladesh with over 300+ volunteers

Casper Foundation is actively seeking two sources of funding.
Firstly, Casper Foundation is applying to youth development-centric international grants and funding opportunities.
Secondly, Casper Foundation long-term sustainability goals are to maintain a network of organisations, institutions, professionals and philanthropists, all of whom pay a membership fee for an annual term to gain access to the tools and resources of Casper Foundation.
Casper Foundation's operating and financial model is yet to be proven fully.
In terms of operations, Casper Foundation needs to ensure that the relationship between universities and itself can be maintained in a sustainable manner so that activities with their student body can be continued over the long-run.
Financially, Casper Foundation relies on its member corporations and institutions, and Casper Foundation has to maintain it's activities and value behind them to have something to offer to its members.
