Team Sope

1. We are solving the problem that the thrown away cigarette butts cause.

2. We are proposing to recycle the ash of the cigarette and purify the filter to reuse the cotton

3. In Bangladesh most of us throw away the cigarette litter here and there which is very dangerous for the environment cause it's like trowing a bomb so through our initiative we hope we can minimum the threat.

Millions and millions of cigarette litters are been thrown away in the nature every day in the world. Only one cigarette litter takes upto 12 years to finally get dissolved. It's like throwing a bomb into the ground when we throw a cigarette litter. It poisons the ground with it's dangerous chemicals and stuffs and the land looses it's fertility. Also the litter get mixed with river/pond water and pollutes the water. It also pollutes the air too. Overall, it is a threat to mankind. Team Sope's target is to fight with this problem. 

If you think broadly when we will execute the startup we will be serving for the whole world. This project is already happening in India and USA but not in our Bangladesh. A lot people are affected by the side effects of cigarette waste directly or indirectly. So, they will be benefited by this initiative. Also the cotton we will purify we can sell them or use them and increase our economy. If Team Sope can form a company someday it will create job vacancy.

Our solution is very simple. We got two targets.

1. Purify the cigarette filter to recycle the cotton. To purify the nicotine added cotton we will use the chemical (we researched the internet about this but due to the lack of chance we couldn't apply it in real)

2. We will use the paper around the filter and remaining cigarette ingredients as compost pesticide.

We will buy cigarette waste from the local tea stalls through a certain amout of money. Then we will hit processing step. Our processing steps are very simple.

1. First we will separate the cotton from the paper. We will wet up the paper and mix  up with ashes and then we will get compost pesticide.

2. We will apply the chemical to the nicotine added cotton and let it be soaked up for approximately 24 hours. After purifying the cotton we will be able to reuse it. We can sell it to the market or make show-pieces or key chains etc and sell them.

by this we can also earn money from the startup regarding saving the universe from pollution and also help people to earn some.

Currently, we are not able to serve anyone. But we hope a lot od people will be benefited once we execute the project.

Within the next year our goal is to execute the plan successfully and within five years to form a company to create job vacancy.

Currently our main barrier is to get the chemical that we need to purify the cigarette butt and test it in the lab. But if we can execute this we are hoping not to face any major problem.

we are finding someone getting higher education in applied chemistry or chemical engineering. Once we find someone who got access to the laboratory we will be able to test our project and execute it.

Currently only two of us. Me and one of my university friends, M.D Fahad. We are more like partners in this.

We did a lot of research on the internet about how to eliminate nicotine from those cigarette butts and make the cotton useful again and hopefully we have found the acid but we couldn't apply the methods because we don't have lab of our own or there's no chemical supply for us. I'm from science background and my friend is from business study. So, with my knowledge about using science and his knowledge about building up a business model really could make a good startup!
