The Innovators Club
I have seen many creative ideas and innovations made by new engineers/experts at universities. Most of the cases those demonstration projects are died with the earning of degrees. Fresh graduates becoming busy for searching jobs or others activities. Therefore, those green ideas are losing life with the passing of time. I have observed huge gap about utilizing ideas & creativities on the way of future developments of my country. Due to lacking of proper platform, many determined Intellectual experts/engineers going to abroad for shaping their knowledge and ideas.
My proposed club will provide all kind of support and encouragement to those Project Experts/Engineers for transforming their ongoing ideas to real world manufacturing.
If my solutions come to see in light then the foreign technological dependency in industrial sector will decrease. Brain drain will no longer be seen in near future and through this way countrywide technological advancement will achieve.
Last decades many industrial organizations grown up especially various electrical & electronics-based sectors. Many foreign as well as local companies are contributing simultaneously because of cheap labor cost. Those manufacturing organizations only apply their technological instruments & specialist and the scope of research and innovation is their homeland oriented. Therefore, our manufacturing industries are fully import oriented. As a result, we are still so far from the core technological knowledge.
If we develop our research laboratories naming "The Innovators Club" which will work for pre manufacturing product development then our technical people may able to learn a lot about it.
I have already mentioned about the growing up scenario of industrial sector which are created huge job market for technical and non-technical position. For this reason, related graduate and post graduate programs also increase at both public and private universities. According to UGC of Bangladesh 152 universities are running all over the country. Where 12 public universities and 50 engineering program of different private universities are accredit by IEB, Bangladesh. Our engineers doing very good innovative projects and participating in various national & international exhibitions. Very few of their demo projects are utilized by international organization and others are losing with the time.
My club will search the effective and real world based projects members from various exhibitions. After completing the internal judgement, club will offer those selected members to join informing all facilities.
Club will provide the technical support, time and opportunity to finalize the projects to the stage of pre-manufacturing. It will also manage to create income source for project members from manufacturing organization if their prototype selected and moved for mass production.
A group of dedicated experts will work in my club who will be chosen based on their activities and knowledge. As my club will make pre-manufacturing prototype it has to perform in two ways which are mainly the support for club members.
- Internal process management
- External movement
Point one includes all the operational support to members for making a prototype of demonstration projects. Example as; A drone is selected for real world application. Club will help to find some possible applications based on present market demand. Then a list of feasible new requirement will give to developers on weight, battery backup, flying time, new features etc. After that developers will start working at club's enrich lab facilities according to planned work flow chart. If any difficulties arise and need experience guideline then club will communicate with its concern supervisor for any trouble shooting and solutions. By this way project finalization will be completed.
External movement which is mentioned as point two is to maintain the communication with different types of manufacturing organization. After successfully finalizing a project prototype, patent is required. At the same time, agreement with manufacturing company is needed before going to mass production. All these type of official procedure are considering as external support of my club.
The Innovators Club will work with some selected field of engineering primarily and these are Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Therefore, research work and all activities will be based on those mentioned engineering initially. It's working process and the steps of technological implementation can be summarized by below.

I have mentioned earlier that, industrialization is growing up rapidly in our country focusing on cheap labor cost and hence related study programs are maintaining by different education institutes. By this way, skilled labor can be managed. But we are loosing many creative brain every year because of some important reason like; lacking of research scope, decreasing of practical knowledge oriented education system and so on.
Manufacturing research is the most important part of industrialization for any country. Without close connection and interaction between the manufacturing research base and both science and technology (S&T) research and real-world manufacturing, countries may not be able to compete in the important new S&T-based industries of the future.
For real industrial development above elements are core of research manufacturing process. In Bangladesh, out of those three items only research institute side is slow in action.
The innovators club will move to drive on this side.
At present, electrical appliance based most of the manufacturing companies in Bangladesh are going by CBU (completely built unit) and SKD (Semi-knock-down kit) type import business. Very few are established CKD (Complete knock-down) but all research and developments are happened at the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) side. As a result, it is really hard for our people to learn about the core technological advancement. So, if we want to make our technical personnel skill with core knowledge then we must have to increase the scope of research what the innovators club wanted to do.

As my solution is in proposal stage so first year the completion of infrastructure and initial running is possible. Next year the innovators club will be able to provide its effective outcome through the manufacturing sector of Bangladesh.
If the success will continue with the club members dedication then after five years, this research club will achieve the international standard and fame.
The innovators club will be focusing on research & development related activities. Therefore, we have to manage/arrange below topics
1. Financial support on
- purchasing various lab testing equipment based on CSE, EEE & ME sector usage.
- Place or space for the innovators club
2. Legal support on
- Certification from some standard organizations
- Approval papers from different government directorates.
3. Support from the community of experience project supervisor.
4. Collaboration with manufacturer organization.
5. Synchronous communication with various project club of different universities.
This innovators club is in the stage of planning, so at first I have to manage some close person who will be interested with this concept. Then we will manage some financial support by ourselves to start from the beginning.
Some equipment's and tools can be managed for a small laboratory where at least 10 persons can work together.
After that, we will list out the required list of approval documents and certification. Step by step we will try to collect and meet all qualification.
At the same time, we have to maintain good and cooperative relation with familiar project supervisor through the technological universities.

Both of us is highly interested to work on this proposed solution and our background as well as interest of working is very much similar.
Currently we are partnering with Relevant Science and Technology. They are working for various medical equipment development. Though I have joined with this society 7 months ago and this research society is developing day by day.
This innovators club will work on pre-manufacturing product developments with the involvement of project experts/engineers. In that case, manufacturing companies will be our customer and project experts are the beneficiaries.
As per mentioned in the solution stage, after completing the product prototype an agreement will be held between the club and the manufacturing companies. According to the mentioned terms and conditions some profit percentage will be collected from customers. From this profit, one portion will be for project experts and the other portion will be paid to the club.
Revenue and income policy will be fixed at the time of infrastructure development.
At the time of starting we have to keep focusing on the investment which we have managed ourselves. After running the making of prototype and handing over to manufacturing organization we will start receiving the income. As mentioned earlier that we will share a profit portion between club and project owners, funding of club activities (Expense of individual projects, maintenance of club and all kind of expense) will be managed from that profit share initially.
These all income and expenditure will be more accurate at the time of working for infrastructure development.
I have already mentioned all my barriers at the section of possible barriers. And I also showed the possible costing at 1st year. So, I can overcome small budget related activities initially but not all. If Tiger IT Foundation can help me then I can overcome all the barriers with shortest possible time and our innovators club will be able to move as per mentioning goal after five years expectation.

The Innovators Club
