One of the main barriers of the economic growth of a developing country like Bangladesh is the absence of “Accountability” and “Transparency” in every sector including the government, public and private companies, even in a roadside coffee shop. According to 2019 index of economic freedom, Bangladesh is ranked 27th among 43 countries in the Asia–Pacific region, and its overall score is below the regional and world averages. It is because of poor infrastructure, endemic corruption, insufficient power supplies, and slow implementation of economic reforms. So, we are committed to provide a solution which will be user friendly and in the purchase ability of a less solvent shopkeeper which will help him/her to ensure accountability and transparency of the business. An introduction of advanced artificial intelligence will make this system capable of preventing corruption.

There is a lack of local quality ERP Software in Bangladesh that can meet the customized needs and can offer future extensibility for different individuals, businesses and organizations. The lack of "Accountability" and "Transparency" in public private companies are common problems and barriers in case of financial development. 

Bribery and inappropriate use of government funds are the most common fields of corruption in this country. Implementation of proper accounts management system in government funded projects can reduce this type of corruption in the future.

Most of the organizations in Bangladesh maintain a paper based accounting. In this era of digitalization those data cannot provide the required analysis on time. Once a corruption is occurred; money is wasted, people are deprived of the facility which cannot be recovered by punishing the criminals. So, preventing such dishonest activities before occurrence or as soon as possible after occurrence will reduce its after effects and money can be saved for better use. Application of proper Artificial Intelligence in an information system can find out abnormal activities and can alarm proper authorities in time so that such activities can be prevented.

Currently, we are working with small and medium sized businesses. One of our client is a Manufacturing Factory in Khulna, Bangladesh. They are doing good business and the Managing Director is a young man who is interested in ensuring accountability and transparency in his business. Root level businesses are their clients. The company maintain different business policies to give their clients monthly and yearly incentives based on sales quantity. For maintaining accountability they also send monthly statements to the clients. As the business is becoming larger day by day, depending on their existing spread sheet based system is becoming harder to maintain. Now, they accepted our offer and we are customizing our base system to meet their requirements.

A small shop who sells home decoration items is using our system for more than a year to maintain its sales and inventory. The owner's life became easier and now he is better informed of his business situation and is being able to plan his business in a more managed way. 

Our other clients are- kindergarten school, sweet shop and small garments show room. Each of them have different demands and we are successfully customizing the system to fulfil their needs.

Small businesses in Bangladesh are usually less serious in matters like bookkeeping or inventory management. According to our experience in the field, even some medium sized businesses run without proper accounts and inventory management system. People are less eager to maintain a software system because of high price of quality software and a fear of their ability to manage such a software system. As a result, most businesses are unaware of the real situation of its financial position. They rely much on assumptions which may lead to miss directions.

So, we are offering a fully customizable ERP solution which can be extended as per the need of any small roadside grocery to enterprise businesses, from primary schools to universities, small organizations to ministries and many more.

Our solution is based on Microsoft's .net platform. The web API based solution is fully customizable and based on a strong accounting framework. It is an API project. So, it is possible to add different services like fleet management, 3rd party information indexing and can be extended to different device interfaces like smart phone application, desktop interface etc.

Currently, the solution is available on its web interface and can be used with any device having a web browser connected to the internet i.e. smart TV, smart phone, laptop, desktop etc. It is user friendly and can be operated with basic computer skills.

Accounts, Inventory, Sales and Purchase modules are currently available in our ERP system. It also offers a role based access management system using some customizations of ASP .net identity framework. The system offers multiple unit based conversions and fit even for groceries. Common accounting reports like journal, ledger, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet etc. are automatically generated using the input data. Besides that, store-wise inventory reports help the users take important decisions on time. 

Our solution helps people to manage the accountability and ensure transparency of individuals, businesses and organizations by providing a fully customizable, easy to use ERP software. 

There is a short of customizable local ERP software in Bangladesh. Companies usually use imported ERP systems and finding flexible support and customization become difficult for those software. So, we started developing this ERP system in 2013 from the ground up and believe ourselves to fit it to any type of system. 

An ERP solution handles large amount of data and we believe that magical things can be done with this data treasury. So, an implementation of proper artificial intelligence in this software will be able to predict business risks and prevent corruption in future.

We are currently serving six installations of the software which may affect the lives of more than 2000 people. We are expecting to reach 50 installations in the next year and more than 500 installations in the next five years. 

We are based in Khulna, the port city of Bangladesh. With the development of Padma Bridge, the southern part of Bangladesh may observe mass industrialization. So, we hope demand for our solution will increase day by day. We also have to reach to potential clients in Dhaka and Chittagong to start generating more revenues. Besides that, we will consider our expansion in the small business market to ensure a reform in financial development of the country.

The main barrier of targeting the local market is, people are less interested in spending on software as its impact may not be directly visible in many cases. On the current stage of our product mass advertisement and reaching to targeted clients is required. But, because of financial constraint it is becoming tough on us.

To overcome the mentioned barriers, we have to offer the software with monthly or annual service fees which will look reasonable to potential clients. A strong marketing team is also required on this stage of the product. To make these possible, fund is an important issue. We have to attract investors and other funding authorities as well as we have to find potential customers for delivering the product.

There are four full-time software engineers in our team having BSc degrees in computer science and engineering. One of them is near to completion of his MSc in computer science and engineering and have 6 years of experience with the software.

A part-time accountant with sound knowledge of accounting is also on our team who looks after the knowledge base in his field and makes valuable contributation is the software design. He also verifies each method to ensure the standard of the product.

We have developed the initial system and now is the time for reaching valuable clients. We dream of a better future of the our ERP system but struggling in finding the proper clients for implementation. We have already invested a large amount in the last six years and now in short of funds for future development and marketing. 

Now, we are submitting the project in the Tiger challange and if we can win, it will bring us to light and the funding will lhelp us a lot to take our project to the next stage.

We are interested in partnership with Bangladesh Government. The implementation of our system in different government organizations and projects will reduce corruption and ensure "Accountability" and "Transparency" in the system.
