In Bangladesh maximum institutions are using manual system which is time consuming and costly. As an example attendance, mark evaluation and other things are handled manually. Students performance are evaluated by teachers are manually(in paper sheet) which are not long lasting and hard to find the copy for the management, if the performance is stored in database then it can be easily accessed by the students, teacher and management and long lasting.The payment system is also back-dated.It can be easily solved if the records can be accessed by student using an application, where the management will update the record regularly. In school notice is read in every class to notify every students and teachers. The process is time wasting, in this case one can use the app to get notify about each notice. These problems can be solved by using one application and web based system which will lower cost and time.

Almost 100k schools and 23k colleges in BD are using manual methods to maintain the  management . It is very costly and time consuming.

There are around almost 1 million teachers and 30 million students . To maintain these huge number of people manually is very tough, costly & time consuming.

The problems we are solving is given below :

1) Manual attendance system : Taking students attendance using paper is time consuming and it's hard to keep the record for long time.

2) Manual mark evaluation : The result of each student is evaluated using paper and is time consuming.

3) Keeping records in paper : Most of the information are stored using paper which can be lost.

4) Payment records : Payment records are stored in account book, it can be lost in time. Payment records are very important, if it's lost then the institution will be in chaos.

5) Updating information : Information about students, teachers or other things and event is updated manually. Which costly.

6) Notice : The noticing system is also back-dated, where the notice is read and signed  by the teachers in every class and section.

Most of these problems we faced when we studied in schools and colleges. Also sometimes we volunteered our teachers schools and colleges . Then we came to know about these problems which are very hard to handle manually . So we need a system that can reduce all of these problems and make it easy and cost effective to maintain our schools and colleges. So the solution we are giving will reduce down all of these mentioned problems . Such as keeping and maintaining the data . Also it will help us to monitor the state of our schools and colleges. With our platform we can maintain and monitor our students and teachers very easily. 

'EMS Assistance' is a very user friendly, lite and interactive information system based on app and web platform.

Features:

On teacher side:

1. Daily information update:

 A) Smart way for taking attendance: There will be fixed seat plan for every class. For each class a visual representation of it’s seat plan will be displayed on app screen where the seats are positioned exactly like the real class room using appropriate row-columns and icons for each students. Teacher can mark students as present or absent by just tapping on the students icons on the screen or by marking/un marking all students by a single tap. This will take only 15 to 20 seconds to take attendance for the whole class.

B) Smart way for recording performance: Teacher can insert performance records for students by using the above method where there will be a marking system that can indicate student’s performance easily.

2. Arrange class room:
Based on students information provided by Head office, seat plans can be arranged automatically by our app or manually by the teacher using Drag & Drop method. Teacher can also rearrange the class room seats any time.

3. Exam performance:
Record monthly and yearly exam results and sync with institution's web MIS.

On Administration side:

1. Performance summaries using graphical representations:
     • Various types of graphs summarizing daily, monthly and yearly progress
     • Progress of individual students, classes. 
     • The graphs will be generated automatically using the records provided by the teachers from the schools & colleges. 

For example, these includes graphs like Bar charts, Pie charts about-
      • Students attendance
      • Students daily performance
      • Students exam results etc.
These graphs will enable the Head office administrators to learn about a student or school or college progress instantly at a glance and take necessary steps immediately.

2. Ensuring female participation: 
     • Push notification alert if the percentage of female participation decreases critically in any class which will help to ensure female participation.

3. Dropout prediction: 
Predict dropouts by analyzing attendance data and notify Head.

On Student Site:

1. Student or guardians anyone who have smartphone can access information about student's attendance percentages, examinations marks, notice board, class or exam routine, Payment list.

In our system for developing app we will use Java, for website will use HTML, PHP, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, for DBMS will use SQL, for Server management will use PHP, Linux.

The solution we are giving uses technology to make our Education Management System easier to manage. it also saves time and money. Right now in our country most of our schools & colleges are using old File System to store most of the records. Which is very hard to keep intact for future use. But in our solution every school can store their relative data as digital data in our servers which they can access any time they want. It is more reliable than old file system & more time efficient. Also it will help the administrator to check the status of the schools & colleges very easily. Because we will represent the state of the academy graphically based on various important aspects like Student attendance parentage, Examination performance, also the state of the academy. So that the admin doesn't have to visit personally to the academy to check the status of a particular academy. He can check it by sitting in his office desk by just login in our servers. Which will reduce so much of work load and time and also save money.

if we get proper guideline, we will go beyond.

The main barriers that currently we are facing new in this field and proper guidelines and funding.

We will work together and smartly to overcome thees barriers.
