Digital Health Card

Healthcare has always been an issue in developing countries like Bangladesh.  In the past year, our Healthcare has achieved a huge milestone and counting. But with time, health problems and health care are getting tough. To combat these problems, we need a better digital and quick solution. But our Healthcare hasn’t digitalized yet. Patient medical history is never being recorded and in many cases, our People lost their medical prescription, report. But patients past history and reports are essential to diagnose properly a patient. Sometimes the load of reports and paper gets too heavy to carry, so patients left them at their home.

We are proposing a solution that can establish a nationwide Patient medical history database without large manpower. Through our solution, Patient can easily store their medical prescription, report online for lifelong. And those record will create a medical profile for a person. Those medical histories can be accessible by the medical organization as per request.

Below we have identified the patient medical record necessity.

1.    Sometimes patients are unable to provide the medicine record and about their illness details
2.    The patient lost their prescriptions and reports
3.    Lack of medical record also a problem for Emergency treatment
4.    Long term medical treatment required the patient's previous medical history.
Another problem for blood collection on emergency time, when an emergency case (such as pregnant patients, burned patients, etc.) people are unable to collect blood.
Initially, all classes people will affect Except lower class. After the initial part, they will also include the project. Overall all classes people will be affected.
The nationwide database will be created where patients can put their medical history and reports which gives a huge positive impact on medical treatment. From a patient medical record, Our Artificial intelligence (AI) will suggest nearby blood donor to others as per request. Through this application, they can contact each other without any privacy leak.

Our main goal is to build a nationwide patients medical record. Where every class’s people can take benefit from it. Our initial goal to serve the people who have internet access. Internet subscriber reached more 93 Million of people in Bangladesh by 2019, which is half of our population. We believe if we connect these number on our system we can move forward for the rest of the people. By 2016, blood transfusion center in Bangladesh collected 600,000 units of blood where estimated demand of 800,000. Our blood book feature can easily solve this problem.

Patient’s application:

The idea is, we are going to make a mobile application as well as web application. Through our application, patients can store their medical prescription or report by scanning or upload image of prescription. Then it will upload to our database server. Our Artificial Intelligence will process those image and generate in text format. There have three types of report, Radiology reports, pathology reports, laboratory reports. Every report has their own format. For Radiology reports, pathology reports we will use Electronic Health Records. From those record, it will automatically assign to prescribed doctor. This how it will make a nationwide patient medical record. User can also find nearby specialist doctor with their time-schedule and regards information. This project will bring a better blood solution. People would able to find their nearby available blood donor without any information compromise. Our AI will recommend patient best matching blood donor. Though this application they can contact with blood donor. From this, patient can make reminder for their medicine.

Doctor/ Organization’s application:

We are planning to make another application, where Doctors and Health organization like Hospital, clinic can access those medical history as per request.

Many developed countries already have their Patient’s medical history database. But developing countries like Bangladesh, we still couldn’t manage to build such things. Our Artificial Intelligence of this solution is most effective and make more user-friendly. Its blood book feature would be best for blood bank solution because it can connect the user to a nearby blood donor. Beside our project will cost less manpower and budget. I believe this thing made our solution innovative.

This solution can make a great impact on our Medical Services. In short term impact, our patient can store their documents for a lifetime, able to find their nearby blood donor and nearby specialist doctor’s location. In long term impact, we will build a nationwide patient medical history and a huge live blood donor list.

At this moment, we are serving no one. After our Mobile application release and with proper marketing, we are expecting around Half Million people will be served in next year. And after five years, the number would be more or less 20 Million.

First of all, we need an infrastructure for this start up. Several barriers are currently existing to accomplish our goal.

Funding is our first barriers for next year. To accomplish we need storage server and marketing strategy for Banding our solution.

For next five years, we need a team working on Artificial Intelligence to make our solution better and efficient.

We researched this project past 6 months. Our team is consisting of Four members. We have two technical specialists to execute this solution and we also have a couple of medical advisor in our team. One of them is practicing. Our medical advisor takes our project into a new level, they help us to reach the actual problem. We believe together we can deliver the best solution.

We have a long term business plan on “My Health Card”. There are different types of steps for our ultimate goal. In the first year, we will be introduced an initial part of the project. Here is our business structure:

• Initial Release: First we would like to release our app with Patients medical record storing and reminder for medicine features.

• Nearby available blood donor feature.
• Then we are about to introduce fraud doctor identification.
• Nearby Doctors Finding:It will give a location-based nearest doctor information. For example, someone visit “Khulna” then it will suggest that the area’s doctors with their time schedule & details.
• Health Insurance: Introduce affiliate health insurance package.
• Nearest Pharmacy Info: Include the nearest pharmacy location.

• Health Insurance scheme from Insurance company
• Commission from Insurance company
• User targeted advertisement from Insurance and Hospital.

We are applying Tiger Challenge because we believe that, Tiger Challenge can provide us better business strategy, financial funding, mentoring to execute our solution. It is a good opportunity for partnership. Because to start this project we will need some financial supports. And it is a good platform to spread this idea all over the world.
