Escuela Jarem.
- Pre-Seed
Extracurricular experience for young people of semi-rural, small & medium cities.
More entrepreneurship less poverty and criminal numbers.
Entrepreneurship as the secret weapon for the development of economies.
Escuela JAREM is an extension of iJAREM (business incubator) Escuela JAREM (the social school of the Entrepreneurial Garden), by its acronym in Spanish, in an Extracurricular experience for young people of semi-rural, small & medium cities, where, through a impactful methodology based in tree topics (Understand, Motivate, Design or UNMODE), young people in vulnerable areas, and young people living in municipalities with stagnant economies or considerable needs, break with the circle of living, where if you born poor, your sons will continue to be poor or, as maximum they scale to the next economical level, living in poverty yet. This method not only help people to change traditional way of living, where poverty, criminal organizations (in mexico at least), and alcohol & drugs, etc... are the only options they have because environment; but increase the rank of people that keep studying, the level of creation of StartUps (and all the indirect benefits it has) and the solution of local needs trough locals. The methodology is simple but powerful and consist in:
- Understand shows them 1) local needs and opportunities (local environment), ") 2) statistics (of poverty, studying, salary of economic groups, etc..) & 3) others experiences (local o regional cases of success taking advantage of needs or opportunities.);
- Motivate through show them 1) cases of success despite poverty, criminal background, 2) to go to school or to dream in a big way, and
- Design is about thinking out of the box and show them 1) how to choose the correct dream and 2) how to develop that dream.
We create the link and organization between private & public sector, and Universities and high schools to work for a better municipality, and a better state. We create a network of SOCIAL entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs of JAREM.
We fight two specifics problem directly.
1) Lack of education in semi-rural and small an medium areas (because brain migration and others factors focus economical and technological development in one or two cities int he state) & tendency to crime or poverty (in semi-rural to medium cities is easier to cover vulnerable population)
2)Lack of motivation and skills in students and not students to not only find a job, but create their own job.
But the indirect problems we affront are related to economical marginalization, ranks of poverty, lack of economical diversification, etc.
While my studies i made a research about economical growth and sustainable grow for a Multidisciplinary Research Congress, where researchers of all the north of the country came to my university to talk about education & others topics. I was a student and i was selected as one of the best 10 lectures. My research was tittle "Innovation & education as the two pilar of international competitiveness".Now, I work as Director of Economical Development, and me and my team realized the different opportunities in local than cities not because lack of technology but because lack of knowledge and motivation.

Normal business go to big cities to take advantage of technology, we take advantage of technology to go to places where nobody (almost) are interested. We care about people in placer where it is difficult to detonate innovation. We'll work with a free app, and low cost-drones, and arduinos sensors in a first stage. We care about people, and we use technology to increase that perception among people and to demonstrate that it is possible to do it.
For free, this app is designed help them, but also is designed to be easy of understand. We will give them, and if necessary we will help them to use a phone that use apps. What if they do not have phones? The workshops are designed to maintain certain level of success with out it, and we can give them one or two to star working by groups with the app.

We help to create helpers. If they do not want to be helped, or they do not want to help we are going to be almost useless

I would like to demonstrate that you do not need to live in a bug city to change the world, or at least, to help people to help other. I thing I'm a solver, but I want to demonstrate myself, and my apathetic sisters and brothers that there is more than find a job (a leave because they didn't find it) but to create their own job. I would like to demonstrate local government the way the should work and be the spark that start the fire of development.
