How can women & girls of all socioeconomic backgrounds use technology to fully participate and prosper in the economy? Guys take risks. Females often, though more qualified & skilled, do not. Speaking confidently up for her ideas & self is often an impediment to next levels of achievement for women & girls.
TEDx has been produced more than 20,000 over the past 8 years so we have reach, stability, sustainability, innovation, creativity, responsiveness to local and global social change worldwide. We've had events in slums, wilderness, farms, and outlying locations. Women learn about & employ tech to organize & speak in these events. Many businesses have spun off from TEDx skill sets transferred in the production, coaching, and mentorship that TEDx's naturally provide.
No one makes $ directly on TEDx. The skills of public speaking, organizing, tech production, filming, editing, social media marketing, partnership development, are all transferable to a wide range of opportunities that then become available after being involved, especially as speaker. Thousands of females have already delivered powerfully persuasive TEDx Talks on many money related topics.
Women & girls, when they learn how to & actually do speak up & stand up for the worlds they want to create, change those worlds. Equality, financial freedom, purpose, and compassion are all reported results from the women & girls I've personally coached. There are 10,000 of me already to step up for women & girls in their communities. We just need a system for successfully finding these voices. Currently, we are navigating this search individually. With a system that qualifies & directs, we could put more of these women and girls on our round red rugs to success.
Women & Girls have lots of ideas. Many decision makers do not take them seriously. Whether research grants, tech startup funding, social ventures to save species from extinction, the feminine voice does not historically carry the same level of consideration. TEDx events reach across the planet. Organizers are often challenged to find these silent voices of great ideas. If SOLVE could support research proving that women & girls are more effective with TEDx speaker coaching, we might be able to attract more women & girls to our stages to amplify their big ideas.
Having produced 125 TEDx Talks since 2009 with more than a million views, women & girls gain confidence, success, and impact by being on the TEDx stage. TEDx is local and global. We impact neighborhoods, cities, rural areas, and even wild places with our reach in every sector...you name it women and girls are involved. With a search system & speaker's bureau for women & girls to attract them to the TEDx stage, we could provide professional development/social media/personal coaching to escalate the adoption of the very best women/girl led ideas.
Upleveling the reach/impact of females is a natural outcome of giving a TEDx Talk. Reaching these women & girls is the challenge. "Systemica" would be a free app for a crowdsourced citizen science gamified solution approach to identifying these feminine ideas.

We'll use big data to seek women & girls who have otherwise been invisible to search. We'll employ innovations in crowdsourcing that will be attractive to the feminine eye. We'll design an app that gives great opportunities for free to females.
Women and girls know how to code. We'll use them to create the app. Females will design the big data draw from which we'll crowdsource these speakers for TEDx's. Sheros show up when the show is Xiting. What can be more fun than making it possible for more women & girls to get their big ideas out into the world?
Many networks are well established among the current TEDx organizers: Facebook groups, TEDxHub, and individual TEDx Teams and events. We'll announce digitally reaching thousands. We'll create an incentive for widescale adoption.

TEDx organizers are accustomed to designing without compensation. We'll leverage the wide network of designers and coders available to each of us. Much data already exists regarding TEDx's globally. We'll access from TED these either directly of manually from public listings of events and speakers since 2009.
We'll begin by designing and testing the app this year. As it becomes an effective tool, multinationals may find it useful to expand their employment reach. These companies might underwrite further improvement of the process.
As tweaks are being made, a freemium model could attract women and girls while funding might come from companies interested in reaching these females for their companies, boards, trainings.
Timing matters. Organizers are very involved already in their communities. Because this is an add-on opportunity without immediate compensation, they might become time constrained. Providing a well-thought out efficient communications system is critical. Having the best female experts in place at the beginning is key.

TED is the main TEDx partner. We exist because TED gives us free access to TED Talks and requires that 25% of our event be TED Talks. Finding strong female voices for our stages interests multinationals, investors, entrepreneurs, NGO's, and women executives.
