Man-power
Manpower is a prospective power generating method that has the potential to generate electricity using human pedaling force. Pedal generators have been built already but failed to thrive due to its very low efficiency due to the size of the alternator and the rotating frequency.
Manpower provides potential solution to this problem by increasing generator size with more than one synchronized pedaling mechanism and frequency adjustment accordingly using a gearbox. Pedaling can be done using ratchet mechanism (similar to bicycle). A picture of a basic model is given for better understanding.
Among numerous problems in Bangladesh, several can be alleviated using this mechanism. Some significant solutions are: Carbon neutral electricity production, employment (alternative to Rickshaw), electricity supply in remote ( or rural) area etc.
It can be used as an off grid power source in small scale industries or supply additional power to the grid as well.
It initially started with a goal solve electricity problem. Another problem in Bangladesh is traffic jam, caused mainly unruly driving and rickshaw. It would have been better to ban rickshaw in the streets of Bangladesh since those are both inefficient and inhumane (from the point of rickshaw puller's perspective).
Hence, over the years, I've come up with an idea that has the potential to solve several problems. As mentioned earlier, Manpower has the potential to produce electricity as well as to create employment opportunity in that process. This mechanism is portable, hence it can be mounted on a truck and taken to remote places where electric supply in required. Several of these mechanisms ca serve as a small power station and add power to the national grid.
This is a scalable mechanism. Hence, by increasing its units accordingly, it can be used to serve as much people as necessary. This mechanism provides a potential opportunity use more efficient electrical machinery wherever is needed.
Manpower mechanism is the simplest form of electricity production whereas people can participate as well, with their minimal skills. Electricity is always needed for a country to thrive. Hence, implementing this mechanism in an overpopulated country such as Bangladesh, unleashes a door for infinite possibilities and opportunities. Not only in Bangladesh, in other parts of the world where there is a lack of electricity, this mechanism can be used since it requires no fuel (only solar power). Electricity can be the solution wherever any problem arises. And Manpower can be the solution that provides reliable and clean form of electricity.
Solution is to provide electricity as a primary source of industrial growth and employment opportunity using this Manpower mechanism. This might be a temporary solution but a really effective one, since the world is gradually moving forward towards renewable energy production using nuclear energy and renewable sources. Nevertheless, that time is still a bit far away when the whole world would be totally electricity sufficient.
In this regard, the concept of Manpower is simpler, potential and possess huge possibilities so solve electric energy shortage.

This idea is innovative in the simplest way. Some of the simple, yet innovative ideas are joined together to make a simple mechanism potential enough to provide complex power such as synchronous electricity.
The main challenge for the Manpower mechanism was to synchronize the several pedals. Imagine a bicycle, its pedal and its rear wheel. The ratchet mechanism at the rear wheel makes the bicycle go in a unidirectional way, regardless of the pedal's direction. Similarly, several pedals in Manpower mechanism and the main shaft (connected to the generator), has the ratchet mechanism same as the bicycle wheel. This will enable the main shaft to rotate in a unidirectional specific speed.
The frequency of this rotation has to be adjusted, hence a gearbox is introduced. It will work just as a manual transmission of a vehicle. Since a gear reduction method has to be used for increasing the frequency ( rotational speed), therefore a bit more force will be required. Solar power will be the source of that extra force.
Technology can solve most of the problems in our society. And at the base of the technology, electricity is a must. This solution has the potential to generate electricity in a safe manner creating opportunities for employments and openings for implementing state of the art technologies. Hence, this solution is bound to address the problems those were discussed earlier.

Currently this solution is just a concept with immense potential. The sooner it is implemented, it will rapidly start serving the the targeted population. After proper implementation
The current barriers are the lack of patrons or sponsors and lack of funding. Even after the implementation, a moderate investment is required to implement this overcoming the political situations.
