Due to the continuous urbanization of big cities the open space for plantation is reducing day-by-day. We are loosing more and more plants, greenness and thus the environment. We can't possibly stop building cities as the population are growing rapidly. The best alternate is the roof top gardening. Which can ensure the optimum use of our spaces. And thus increases the number of plants as well as greenness and absorb more carbon dioxide, produce oxygen and thus saving our environment and live. Also production of more vegetable and fruit will gives us an extra financial and health benefits.
The number of Urban household and people are increasing day-by-day for example if we just consider the Dhaka city there are almost 5 Million house holds with 25 Millions people. If we calculate the rest of cities then it may comes out the 60% of our total population.
The proposed system will encourage and facilitate people to take care of their roof top garden by providing with automated plant watering facilities. It's low cost and easy to operate will enable more people to avail it. Mostly people avoid gardening due to maintenance hazards which can be overcome using this solution.
We are planing to serve the people who are involved in gardening and plantation but in general we think we can serve everyone by building awareness among them as all of us are somehow connected with plants and nature. Also currently we develop our own roof top garden to understand problems and trail with the solutions. To identify more we frequently visits to other gardener sites. Our finding is that, mostly watering plays a major role in maintaining garden. The plant dies or produce less due to shortage or lacking of water and thus we started with the solution.
We are providing a product that will measure the soil moisture then depending on the moisture level and the time, the system will take decision whether to water the plan or not. The measuring sensor will measure the moisture in three different levels. The system is also designed in a way that it will not water the plants during broad daylight. Which is harmful for the plants. The system will keep track of watering (Water Volume, Time). We have also developed an mobile application that our users will be able to use to control and configuring the system. Using the app a user can customize his watering needs. He/She will be able to set water volume, watering time etc. He/She will also be able to see the data of last few watering.

The people who grow plants have to water the plants and water them regularly. This becomes a problem when they go to vacation. During vacations a lots of their plants die. As our device automates the watering processes, one can easily solve the problem using our device.

As we are in prototype stage we are not serving anyone.
