Background: Today, in the era of I4.0 Bangladesh RMG industry is still lagging behind in fundamental business data management, analysis and forecasting.
One of the core reasons for MIS/ERP/Planning System Struggle is manual data entry from POs and lack of Standard/Smart Database
Problem: Manual entry requires numerous paper printing, it's prone to human error (avg. 1%) and fatigue, highly time consuming and very often the formats are not standard and compatible for integration.
These result in inefficient supply chain, heavy system losses from data errors, delayed response time and lack of overall transparency.
Solution: Our software removes manual data input/processing and automates data extraction from PDF POs, analytics and reporting.

The 4,621 Garment Factories (2018-2019, Source:BGMEA) creating an export value of approx. USD 34B, covering more than 84% of total country's export; are yet to be served with proper data management systems in most of the cases.
We've identified the root cause of the industry suffering tremendously from system losses. And it lies at the very initial stage of data entry practices due to lack of proper automation.
Purchase Order or PO Information is the Base of all subsequent supply
chain activities ie. Bill of Material (BOM), production/delivery
Planning, forecasting, Inventory etc. Any error or mismanagement of PO information triggers a devastating "Butterfly Effect" across the whole supply-chain.
So far there was no effective and customizable automation for data
extraction from different PDF PO formats of different customers/buyers.
Therefore, traditionally POs are printed and manual data entry and reporting is
done in different departments irrespective of the MIS/ERP/Planning systems
available (if any).

The average time taken to process a PO data and generate a basic report is 42 minutes. For different purposes in 6 different departments total processing time taken for 1 PO would be 42X6=252 minutes or 4.2 hours.
But now with our innovation it takes seconds to extract a PO information and automatically generate numerous number of pre-designed reports for different departments instantly.
The contribution would be even more significant if factors like PO revision, human errors, data mining scope, paper print etc. are considered.
