Problem

We know Bangladesh is an agricultural country.About 80% of our people depends on agriculture directly or indirectly.But most of the farmers don't get their right value.As a result,many farmers are turning away from agricultural work.Now a days we see in newspaper that,some farmers are ruin their crops for lack of right value.It is very harmful for their family and a great threat of our agriculture.

Solution

"FarmerShop" is a cloud platform where the farmers can create their shop,advertise and sell their agricultural products to retailers and wholesalers.Marginal,small and illiterate farmers who has not enough knowledge or ability to buy smart device,we create their shop through our service.

Impact

By using "FarmerShop",Farmers will sell their products with market price and communicate with consumer directly.For that they will be very happy and inspired in farming.At the same time,millions of consumer get fresh products and see farmers photo which product they buy.

What is the problem you are solving?

In Agriculture Industry there are thousands of problems. I mentioning some problem here.

Farmers do not get right value.
Farmers ruin their own products.
For poor price sometimes they don't want to carry their goods in market.
Now a days production cost is very high. So they lost their interest from agriculture.

We think more than 40% population are affected for this kind of problem.

There is no exactly same solution in Bangladesh.But there are many e-commerce site in Bangladesh.Most of the online-shop sold other products like sari, cosmetics, shirt, pant, electronics, books, daily used goods. There also some e-commerce site for agricultural products. But there is no facilities for farmers.

Who are you serving?

Every farmers meed to be benefited with their agricultural products to get a better price. Besides, businessman also wants to be benefited. On the other hands, customer wants fresh and adulterated product for eating. In short, I think if we perfectly run this project all the population will be benefited.

Some days ago, I got a survey in my local area. Most of the farmers are highly appreciate but some are not realize. Two years ago I generate this idea in my University project course. 50% work of our site is completed in locally.In first phase, I want to create smart website for this and give advertisement. It is also very important to communicate with farmers and business for advertisement.

What is your solution?

The Solutions we provide:

Easily communicate with customer.
Customer will search nearest farmer products easily.
Consumers have to pay for local products before or after picking them but when the product will not local, customer have to pay before picking.
Integrate with popular mobile payment system like bkash or nogod to facilitate quick and direct transaction between farmer and customers.

We use mobile apps and website for our system. In future we provide transport facilities from farmers to consumers.
