Project - Mali
Bangladesh is the country of agriculture. But, this tagline for Bangladesh is going down day by day because of lack of digitization in the field of agriculture. Labor cost are growing high. So, the productivity is going down respect to expectation. As a result, the lifestyle of farmers of Bangladesh are not improving as it should be. We need to digitalize the field of agriculture. Though, now-a-days farmers are using many mechanical tools but, those are not quite enough. "Project - Mali" is an automated water supply system which will supply water to the paddy field in time to time and will monitor each and every situation of a paddy field for its owner. It will increase the amount of productivity and decrease the production cost and more importantly save the water from wasting.
We know, water is the key element for any harvesting. So, the water supply system is very important for cultivating. In the field of agriculture of Bangladesh, every water supply system are manual and human do that by water pump. But, mistake is the common human nature. So, sometimes the paddy field does not get the sufficient water in time and sometimes it over flown by water. As a results, lower productivity causes. By the poor monitoring system a lots of water being wasted and we need to more concern about saving water. "Project - Mali" will be very careful about saving water and will supply the sufficient amount of water by its sensors and machine learning capability.
As my project concern about Bangladeshi agriculture so, our targeted customer will be the farmers of Bangladesh. I also want to participate with it in a Govt. agricultural project. I want to make it more advance, efficient and human capable. The system will learn more about its working criteria and can solve the complex and hostile situation.
Working procedure of "Project - Mali" : The big paddy field will be divided into many small part. There will be a water level sensor or water level detector to measure the water level of the field. Every detector conjunct to the control room of the system. Control room consists water pump, system controller and monitoring system. Water pass to field through drain. There will be one or more gates in the drain which pass through every part of the field. Also there will be cameras for image processing in each part. Every part will be marked as respect to water level detector. Control room will always collect data from water level detectors and cameras. When the system detect that water level of any field is below the red line, the system then start the water pump and open the the gate of the targeted field. When the water level reach to green line the water supply will be stopped and the gates also will be closed. The system will work with priority base. When the system detects by cameras that, fields are full of weed, it will send notification to farmer for weeding. There is a stage of farming when the hoe needed to be grown and the field needed to be dry. The system will then disable the water level detector for stop water supply. When the paddy fully grown and reach to the final stage the system will notify to the farmer for collecting them.

"Project - Mali" will change the classical way of paddy farming. It will notify farmers what should needed for better productivity and suggest the solutions for every farming problem. For example, which the high time for put fertilizer and pesticides in the field. If any unusual things happens it will try to detects by its own or it will seek manual override for the solution.
It is a new concept and I have not apply it yet.

Currently, the number of serving people are zero and it is impossible for me without any funding help to serve the system in next One or Five years.
I am facing the funding problem. Its need a quiet big funding to accomplish.
If, I do not get any Govt. funding, I will do it with my own funds in next five years.

I am a student of Computer Science and Engineering and I have good programming knowledge.
