"Beach Cleaning bot"

In Bangladesh it is seen that people throw their used materials here & there.The terrible scenes  are seen in natural tourist places.Like in beaches people throw their garbage in the beach & thus making the place nasty. So we want to develop  a machine that can collect the trashes from the beaches. In develop countries,they have beach cleaning machines which costs millions of dollars .In our country,we don't have these kinds of machines.The machine we want to built will be portable.It means that it can be attached to any moving vehicle.Like in Cox's Bazar ,it is seen that there are many beach cars in the beach which people ride for their environment.We want to attach our machine with that car so that people riding the cars can contribute to the cleaning of the environment .The drivers will also be benefited as number of riders will increase.

Beach ecosystem is being degraded continuously both by natural process and people's unawareness. Our beaches are being polluted with plastic, oil etc which are thrown by tourists. Tourist throwing non-biodegradable materials into the sea. Plastic waste constitutes more than 60% of the litter found in the beaches of Bangladesh, according to a survey. A total of 6,705 pieces of waste products were found on a 18.5km stretch of the four sea beaches – Laboni and Inani in The survey also found bottle caps and lids,drums, jerry cans, buckets, disposable utensils, straws, stirrers, drink packaging, food containers, bags, gloves, cigarette lighters,
 syringes, baskets, crates and trays, mesh bags, fishing gear, and many other kinds of plastic waste on the four beaches.Cox’s Bazar, and Ananda Bazar and Patenga in Chittagong – in Bangladesh during the survey. So our environment is being polluted day by day.The amount of cleaning workers are not sufficient to clean these trashes .Thus the trashes are not being removed & it is harming the beach eco system .It is also harming our natural tourist spot & our tourism. Due to pollution,number of foreign tourists are decreasing day by day.

The machine we are wanting to make will improve the beach ecosystem. Species living in those place will get a better environment .As the device is protable,the people's living near the area can utilize it.Buying or renting a beach car,they can use it for people's riding & the cleaning process of environment .As people are awared about the pollution,they will also try to be a part in these cleaning process.Thus number of riders of the cars will increase & the owners will get a great chance of earning . Mainly Our project focuses on the environment protection .We can not live with out environment .It is our duty to protect them. But we being unconscious are doing harm to the environment .We are destroying the coastal ecosystem . Our device will not only clean the coastal areas but also will give the coastal people  a great source of earning .

The cleaning machine we will develop it will have many features .For better use, we will make it portable .It means that it can be attached with any vehicle .It can be semi autonomous or manually control. The device will have two wheels to support its movement. The wheels will attached to two motors .Our device will have conveyor belt .It is the main part of the device .It will be connected with a motor that will control its movement .The conveyor belt will be made with steel & it will have bending steel hook type structure so that it can collect trashes from the sand. The conveyor belt will be in a tilt plane structure.The lower part will be closed to the sand & it will collect trashes .The upper part will be attached to a bucket where all the collected trashes will be dumped .The front side of the device will be connected with the moving vehicles.The conveyor belt will have have holes in its surface so that the unwanted sands will automatically can  be removed  .The device can be built by a micro controller like arduino. It will have a system which will indicate when the bucket is being full . Our device is efficient and of low cost & it can solve the greatest problem in the coastal areas of our country . For a fully working medium size useable device,it won't cost more than fifty thousands whereas in developed countries a machine cost more than a million. If we get enough funding, we can develop more device which will decrease the cost more.The device will give protection to our coastal ecosystem .It will a give a earning source to the coastal area people & create a source income to the people who are working in this project .

The portability & the chance to use the device with all moving vehicles in the beaches make the solution more innovative .It is cost efficient & productive for both suppliers and the users. The existing beach cleaning machines are not available in our country .Moreover they are costly .But in our sollution we are making the device portable .This is reducing the overall cost .we can use device with what we already have surrounding us.

The barrier is mainly the funding .Due to lake of funding we are not able to make the device & use it for the betterment of our environment.
