Problem : For many years , people of Dhaka are in the need of a systematic transportation . The transportation system of Dhaka cannot serve the people properly . Bus drivers have not gained the proper driving mindset

Solution : Our solution is franchise based bus transportation system for Dhaka . This will ensure optimum use of resources and will improve the transportation system of Dhaka city. The solution will be for short term.

Problem : Most of the buses don't follow the root permit . They compete with each other while running at a higher speed in the road , which is sometimes cause of serious accident of the passer-by .

The other cases are :

-> Uber isn't capable of serving this huge needs of transportation

-> All the people of Dhaka aren't accustomed to use Uber yet

-> Besides these , vehicles having comparatively slower motion also causes        accidents

We're serving the following people by monitoring their everyday activities in the streets-

 Target people : People of Dhaka city such as students , workers , service-holders especially who has to go outside their home on a regular basis  

Solution : We have said before that the solution will be franchise based transportation management system for Dhaka , by  'franchise' we want to mean that , owners' of the buses won't be many but a few ; that means , the buses will be operated by not many owners' but a few registered owners' .  

Apart from these , we are also planning for the long term solution if needed

• The provision of a safe and reliable public transport system of mass rapid transit services at prices which are affordable by all sections of the community.

• Provision of highway and street infrastructure to serve the different functions required by different users.

• Integration of different modes of transport by linking routes and services and by developing a common ticketing system.

• Acknowledging the needs of special sections of the community especially the needs of children, the aged and infirm and women.  

• Revisions to the systems of licensing and testing for both drivers an vehicles in order to improve the quality of both and to eliminate non-licensed vehicles and drivers.

• The creation of a ‘Pedestrian First Priority’ system to enhance the provisions for pedestrians and to increase the safety of vulnerable road users.

• Creation of environmental pollution control standards with special emphasis on noise and emissions from vehicles.

• Drivers mindset should be rational

Our solution is innovative because we will introduce the following roots of buses -

There is a lack of education and consciousness among the pedestrians, passengers and drivers about the traffic rules.Rickshaw pulling becomes the most easily available job for the people who migrate to Dhaka from villages . They do not need any formal training to start this profession and most of the cases there are insufficient training center for informing traffic rules and regulation.Most of the time, the pedestrians cross the busy streets even if there is no crosswalk. People do not usually use the over bridges or underpasses, which are constructed in the important and busy intersections of the city.Even they don’t use zebra-crossing for crosswalk.The buses do not stop at the bus stops, they stop just at the intersection points, and rickshaws always follow them. As a result, the intersections of the busy roads always remain crowded by the people and different types of vehicles.

Currently we are not serving any , because our solution is just in initial stage now.

Goals within the next years : 

1) increasing sufficient number of traffic traffic signals   

2) monitoring , whether the drivers of buses are maintaining the rules or not

Goals within the next five years : 

1) All vehicles will have free access in the road   

2) Different types of vehicles will use different lanes in the road

3) Gradually we will try to reduce non-renewable energy and will encourage using renewable energy . 

 Barriers : Currently existing competitors -> Ride sharing services ( Uber ) 

                                 Future competitors -> Metro rail          

Financial barriers : Funding

We will overcome these barriers by getting support from the government and by acquiring customers . We will acquire customers by raising awareness and by setting the mindset of obeying traffic rules . 

Only three people work on our solution team . 

I and my team is best-placed to deliver this solution , because - 

1) My teammates including me has been living in Dhaka for a couple of years . 

2) Almost everyday we have to go out of our house and have to face a lot of challenge to reach our destination . 

We will bring in money by raising investment capital to fund our work
