Carbon Di Oxide Reducer

Global warming is already affecting us and the environment in a negative way and it will only get worse through time because one of the leading causes of it is the increase of greenhouse gas emissions mainly carbon dioxide.

The world population and Global warming is increasing and will soon be a very big danger to our planet because while these factors are increasing the size of the planet is still the same this will cause more strain on it. 

The Carbon Dioxide Remover is an invention that dramastically reduces the gas by allowing it to react with a chemical which is in the core of the mechanism, the effectiveness of the chemical depends on the pH level of the chemical itself (which is known to react with carbon dioxide) .

It help the people by reducing the temperature of home along with Bangladesh.

Mainly the specific problem is the air pollution which helps to increase the temperature of the environment along with our home . Mainly bangladesh is a developing country , here people not have much money to effort a AC . And we all know the temperature of global is increasing. As Bangladesh have much air pollution so the increases here by leap and bound.So fot this reason i thought to find out solution

I think almost beside rich all people of Bangladesh are affected by this problem.

Mainly it contribute by decreasing the temperature inside the home . It also absorb CO2  From inside the house.

Mainly my father is retired air force militant . He is not well developed and rich . In a hot summer day when i come from school , then i can feel the temperature high staying at my home . Sometime i saw that the temperature of my house is higher that outer side . One day i also thought , i am fine but what happens with them who pull all day rickshaw or do hard work and return at home . So then i understand the fact by talking with them.

My solution will address their needs because it will throw out the carbon di oxide or absorb it  inside the house then it will remain cool.A s we all know CO2 can trap temperature if it will not remain there the temperature will decrease .

The same amount of the chemical will be inserted in the Carbon Dioxide Remover Core, the room will be at 30 degrees Celsius then put each Core, with different chemicals  in the mechanism and turn it on for 1 to 12 hours recording each of the results hourly

The temperature will decrease no matter which material you will use the difference would be the speed.At the end of this I just hope that people really understand the importance of collectively taking care of the planet we all live in. 

The stronger the pH level of the chemical the more effective it will be. 

The reason for the Hypothesis iis for example think of coffee the more coffee granuils you add the stronger it tastes. 

My mechanism is composed of 2 cylindric see through containers with one end the diameter is 10cm and the other end 15cm but the 10cm diameter side cut out in both containers. A Carbon Dioxide Remover Core is an absorbant core that is composed of 3 layers a absorbant thermoplastic on either side and cotton in the middle layer, this core will consist of 15 drops of each chemical in each individual core. On the 15cm diameter sides will be 2 small fans I made out of a plastic fan, 9v battery and cap, wires, DC motor and a switch. How a fan works is that it sucks in air from behind then blows it out to the front, my thought was I wanted to pull air through the bigger diameter circle so using my small fan I just simply turned it backwards(in this case face right or Eastern ) then the air that is sucked in will go through the Carbon Dioxide Remover Core and that will allow it to react with the chemical(this will be placed between the 10cm diameter sides which are cut out  what will connect them will be glue on the circumference) , with the fan on the right side will also face the right side or eastern. And it will suck the carbon dioxide free air out into the atmosphere.

Mainly my method of testing and research makes it innovative . I work with the for 2 month long , testing with different types of chemicals others . Here is summary of my testing that make my solution innovative one.

Materials needed:

*Soda lime

*Sodium Hydroxide

*Potassium Hydroxide

*Lithium Hydroxide

All chemicals had been put in their own individual Carbon Dioxide Remover Cores, (15)drops. 

The experiment is to test which chemical reduces the temperature the most. 

First-we start out with a room with the temperature of 30 degrees celcius for all the experiments

Second-turn on the mechanism for 1 to 12 hours 

Third-record all the temperatures hourly 

The test was fair because 

The room in which the experiments were performed in was left at 30 degrees celcius for 1 day to see if the temperature would stay the same through all the experiments and they would be fair. All the materials and chemicals for all the experiments was exactly the same. 

Ph levels

Soda lime- 13.5

Sodium hydroxide-between 10.98 and 12

Potassium Hydroxide -12

Lithium Hydroxide-11.63

Potassium Hydroxide (it is reactivated by acides and since CO2 is an acidic oxide it is always reactivated) works the most followed by soda lime then Lithium Hydroxide then sodium hydroxide. 

i expect because i can feel it and their needs , When you can feel anything then you can understand the matter . I can ensure you about 95% people of bangladesh need it.

Now , i am serving none as college student . As my dream is to study in MIT I am doing hard work for it, i think if i got chance i will develop it more , then i think the people all over the country will get help from it . Currently i am serving the 4 members of my family . Thinking to serve my neighbour.

My goal is next is develop it and decreasing its cost . And in next five year i want to distribute it top all over the people of bangladesh with the help of NGO's.

Mainly the main barrier is the financial problem , the mentor problem and the problem of researching as you should know there is no oppurtunity for college means high school students to research in BD.

I am thinking to call up some sponsors or other to help me financially . Want to contact with university professor to mentoring me and give me oppurtunity to research.

Here in my team we work like family . we work in our summer and winter break or whenever we get time there in no limitations.

I think we are not , i strongly believe that we are . We strong STEM background from our middle school to high school period . We have experience about participating 30 national science fair , some international science fair .Our team consists in variety like one is expert in IT then another in chemistry and other is in environment .

MY PATH OF FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY IS UNIVERSITY FUNDING , NGO AND SPONSORS.

MAINLY I APPLYING HERE TO GET ATTENTION OF MIT MY DREAM UNIVERSITY , THE GOVERNMENT OF BD SO THAT THEY CAN GIVE THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT RESEARCH OPPURTUNITY , THE UNIVERSITIES OF BANGLADESH AND OTHER HIGH POFESSIONALS.

IF I SELECTED , IT WILL BE DRAMATIC , LIKE DREAM FOR ME . IT HARD TO GET SELECTED , IF I AM NOT WRONG THERE WILL 1-2 PROJECTS FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND 99.99% ARE FROM PROFESSIONALS. BUT I NEVER LOSE MY DITERMINATION. I ALWAYS BELIEVE , I CAN DO IT , WE CAN DO IT .IF I SELECTED I WILL DEVELOP MY PROJECT. I DON'T NEED SUCH A BIG AB=MOUNT OF MONEY . I ONLY NEED THAT AMOUNT WHICH HELP ME TO CONTINUE MY RESEARCH AND GIVE IT TO THOSE WHO NEED IT.
